Ah, well that is somewhat disappointing about the rain events. I was hoping to spend a bit of time on that as I love the Nurburgring tracks. Besides that, I have the Lotus Top Gear challenge (fuck the tires they give you in that), and three of the Italy rally events to gold.



I'm not quite to the 5mil it takes to buy it, so I've been afraid to open the used car lot to see if its there and I can't afford it lol. I also need to find a german touring car for that event. Have you tried turning off all the driving aids Aki? Specifically ABS and the ASM.

ASM/Traction Control/etc are always off, and I usually keep ABS at at least 1 unless I'm doing Indy 500/Daytona, where I turn em off.

and I had 6mil+ on me, and just had to keep doing B1 > skip test > to B5 and check the car lot to see if it's there. Was a bitch.

I spent a couple hours last night and a few hours today before mine popped. I hadl ike.. 6.2mil to spend too, lol.

Yeah from the regular premium car dealership. Only comes in black. Throw some racing softs and that's about all you can do to it.

Ah, just did Cape Ring and won pretty easily. Cool. was about to spend my last 1.4mil on a touring car I had seen in the used car lot lol

I tried this for like 2 hours and got like 90 Miuras and 90 Mk. IV race cars. wtb P330.

Got all golds on licenses today. :D

Not sure if anyone has seen it but the GT5 My Home is available on GT's website. It's basically the community part of the game but on your browser. I assume this is where the B-Spec "anywhere" will be when that is released next year. Has stuff like this.

Alright, so I just did the Toscana Tarmac rally followed by the Alaskan Rally and oh my goodness. That is probably the most fun I've had the entire game. I mean the scenery is simply incredible and that kind of endless track format really gets you into the rally mood. Wow that was awesome.

Yeah, the snow tracks were so much fun. I wish they had some regular a-spec events for that format. I'd probably enjoy grinding exp/cash on those if it they had something in extreme/endurance. Seems a waste to have a system like that then only use it in one small spot of the game.

Well it was the same format in GT4 but they had many many more rally type events. I'm not sure why they killed it off really. WRC and rally racing is getting more and more popular it's a shame really.

Question. I've been focusing 99% on B-spec and have my first drive at rank 13. The arrow next to his name was green pointing -> until about 5 hours ago, when it turned yellow and started pointing diagonal-downwards. Anyone know what that means? Is it some sort of fatigue system?

Afaik, it is a fatigue, and the idea is to have multiple drivers hired to swap them about when needed.

Yeah. A Logitech G25. I tried to play with a controller just to see what it was like and I just couldn't. I don't see how you can play this without a wheel. G25 + Playseats Evolution = gg

Unfortunately it slows down progression of your B-spec rank since leveling another driver starting at 0 gives you fuck-all for experience towards your next rank. Did Polyphony try and make this into a grinding MMO or something?
