The AI also has serious issues with the last chicane in the Nurburgring GP course. During the FGT race there, at least one car would spin out because it took the turn way too wide. My driver did it about 1/3 of the laps lol, somehow he still won. It didn't matter if he was in the blue or the red, whether I told him to pace up, down, or keep it steady, he'd always find a way to spin out.

And yeah...fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk NASCAR and it's shitty fucking races. I think I hate it more now than before GT5 came out. The B-Spec Daytona is a fucking bitch. My driver will go from 1st to last in about 2 seconds (has happened on the last lap a couple of times too), makes me rage.

Yeah.. a shame you can't control their turning a bit better. Like issue commands to take a turn wide or tight, or maybe set where "Pace up" activates, like only on turn so and so.

and not looking forward to Daytona. Heck, I had a full straightaway lead on Indy and they caught up. Not sure how they're able to do that. I guess our AI is like DERPDERP I HAS LEAD I OK NOW

Fucking god damn Nascar. 11th on Daytona, 2nd on the cup by TWENTY POINTS. He was in first most of the way and boom, 9 cars pass him and he's too fucking stupid to A) block it or B) move up into a lane, so he gets in 11th, right behind 10th place and STAYS THERE. The rest of the fucking race then boom. Finishes 11th.

Polyphony should stick to car lobbies and online only. They have no idea how to design AI. They seriously need to hire Codemasters to program their AI and damage physics. AI in this game drives like Mario Kart bots for the SNES. Racers in Grid raced like they were out to win, not out to hold the prettiest line. They don't brake when someone spins out, and why not? Its not like the game punishes you for it.

I'd tell them to release a game for B-spec alone, but at this rate, no one would buy it. The AI's too shitty.

The rear end has most of the weight of the car, so it kept upending me. I tried to balance out the downforce but when I did the car stayed pretty much on the ground, which will be a good thing once I start driving this car on these tracks for realz.

Gotta agree about the AI. Oh, and let's not mention on the second race of the NASCAR shit, my AI keeps spinning out CONSTANTLY, so much that his tires were worn and I had to fucking pit. Now I'm 30 seconds behind an dmay as well just skip the rest of this fucking race. It's ridiculous. And you're forced to use Racing Hards too. Shit's retarded.

and got a 6th place out of it. One car pitted on the last lap, and I managed to catch the others with my fresher tires, but yeah. My tires were almost gone by the 4th lap. gg AI.

ok, are there any specific conditions to be met to get a fucking pick up truck? shit is way annoying that i cannot find one, I cannot complete the amateur league w/o it. Do licenses matter when it comes to finding cars in the used car lot? I have the I-C license now.

From Bronzing the IB license you get a Dodge RAM 1500. I put some parts into that and won with it.

Edit: And no, licenses don't matter at all with the used lot. It's all completely random what shows up.

so whats a good car for the beginner rally event? every car that i want has too much horsepower lol. i was thinking about the lancia delta but if there is a cheaper car i would like to know

I used the Volvo C30 and put some upgrades into it, enough for it to be just under the HP limit, and then some chassis/weight/suspension upgrades. It won pretty easily on the snow/dirt tracks, and won by not as large of a margin for the tarmac course.

i used the lancia delta and tuned it up a bit to keep it below 245hp. Anyways, wtf does the license do then honestly?

Just remember to use the right tires for the tarmac course, cuz I struggled the tarmac course til I found out that I had the wrong tires. lol

Licenses don't really do anything in this game, besides give you a boost in exp and some decent cars to use for the lower events. It can help you practice some of the more difficult corners, and get used to tracks before you race on them. It doesn't open up any new events, sadly.

Yeah, unlike other games where it let you use different cars, S-Ranking here is just... more shit for you to try and get gold trophies on, lol. That's how I look at it.

You can buy a Mazda MX-5 for the Rally and have it ready for every other MX-5 race in the game including the endurance lol. Actually had fun with RWD rally cars.
