Do front aero kits do anything? I've put a couple on cars, but it doesnt let me adjust front downforce, it only shows a gray, non-adjustable 0.

Yeah, you gotta make sure you add all the aero kits you can. There's 4 different types when you're selecting.

So I just did a 500k credit engine rebuild, and went from 824 HP before, to 823 HP after. Money well spent.

Took me about 10+ times. Barely tapping a car and getting disqualified after ramming another at about 50 mph is frustrating.

I silvered it after god knows how maby tries, and the stupid first place car beat me by literally .002, i tried it again and got the gold, but yea fuck that challenge. At least the advanced one is full of lolz.

Suggestions for not making a completely useless B-spec driver?

I'm taking no shame in admitting I used the skid force recovery and the other fake aid to help me gold the Elise challenge. The car still drove like a fucking hovercraft.

Also for B-Spec, give your driver a seriously overpowered car respective to the race. Once he reaches level 20 or so he'll learn how to late brake occasionally, and you'll be able to do a bit better on the one make races, and the races where you are limited in the cars to use. Also keep his hot/coldness level in the middle of the meter. From my anecdotal evidence it keeps him driving fast enough, but not enough to where he spins out or takes a shitty line.

Which is best for bspec grinding, Eli? 4 hour Nurburgring, or 1000km Suzuka?

Suzuka is definitely better if you're using an FGT/X1. My X1 can do it in about 4 hours and 15 minutes, and I remember it giving substantially more exp than the Ring did (I think it gives less because of the competition difference). I think the FGT does about 4 hours and 45 or so. This is all assuming it isn't raining, if it is when the race starts just back out of it. I think the Nurbringring catches up the closer you get to 5 and a half hours.

The 24 hours of Le Mans gave about 97k per hour, which I think is the most efficient per time, but that requires your PS3 be out of use for 24 hours.

I think my guy was doing the Suzuka race in about 5 hours and 10 minutes or so, give or take. Finishing this lap and the Ring will be done though, so that's cool.

Does anyone know if top times in practice time trial mode are limited to the top ten, or can you scroll down and see all the runs if you have more than 10? I want to do something like Top Gear's power laps, but if it only keeps the top ten per course that's kind of stupid.

It keeps only the Top 10 fastest lap times, but they can be cleared at any point.

This might be ask a few times already but I'm gonna say it anyways are you guys using controller or racing wheel for GT5

For the GT academy I've been using controller, but on average I switch between wheel and control.

Controller for b-spec so I don't have to setup the wheel. Wheel for everything else.
