    Vista Installation

    Hi all,

    I did search but couldn't find an answer relating to this really.

    Just recently purchased a laptop with Vista Home Basic, I installed the Vista POL but now when I install FF11 it takes a very long time to install. I have tested a few times, I don't mind running through the whole installation but is there a reason why this is going slow? Is this just how it works with Vista? I just don't want to encounter problems after the long installation!

    Try disabling UAC and see if that helps.

    Unless you're talking about the update process, which always takes forever...
