Try this
Corrupt extension files
Corrupt extension configuration files can cause problems when trying to install an extension. Deleting these files will make Firefox recreate them (removing any corruption) the next time it starts. You won't lose your extensions or their settings by deleting these files.
1. From the menu at the top of the Firefox windowbar, select FileFirefox and then select the ExitQuit FirefoxQuit menu item.
2. Go to your profile folder.
3. Delete the following files:
* extensions.ini
* extensions.cache
* extensions.rdf
4. Restart Firefox.
instead of clicking the DL link, right click and save the xpi to your desktop. Drag the .xpi file to your browser.
Just reinstalled Firefox and didn't bother messing with Mozbackup to restore my old extensions; that's probably what the problem was. Thanks.
In the note of Windows 7, does it require the Vista POL installation method of FFXI or will the original installation method work now?
You'll still need the Vista POL being that it's somewhat the same OS.
Vista pol surely.
If you install the old CD you would surely need to run it in Windows XP mode
And don't call me shirley
i'll call you w/e i want!
