What's the BRD fight like/objective? I've actually been wanting to find out but never got around to it (i.e. searching on Youtube for a video).

You pretty much just fight him down. SV buff yourself, debuff him, then just keep hacking away. He was easy at 70 w/ a Joyeuse.

You only have the option to steal if it's your first job. Have fun fighting him. It is by far the "hardest" fight at 66 that I had to do (rdm was already 75).

Aww crap... guess I'll fight Maat at 68-70ish then.

As for DRK, contrary to popular beliefs, Kraken isn't autowin. (I got stunned during SEBW too many times to remember.)

My first round with Maat on WHM, I tried to beat him to death; it didn't really work. Won by fulltiming an earth staff (lolNQ) and just letting him smack me while I cured.

Lol true. I r0ed after using SE and didnt get BW off lol. Got back with 100HP and Maat at 40% :/ And he twatted me before I could do anything else. I checked the log and he spammed Bash/Stun on me

I lost the SCH fight my first try. Then again I did it the day it came out and had no clue what to do lol. He summons a book to help fight and it's annoying as hell.

If you try without meds n shit he isn't overly fun... Only one I've come remotely close to dying to was MNK at 75 (just ran in and 2hred). 66 he can be pretty tough tho.

Boss has every spell up to level 70 and can instantly cast them and doesn't idle much, about 2 seconds after his previous spell he'll cast another. The Additional effects on spells (Or at least Headbutt) don't work on him either.

Went 1/2 @ 75. Can't remember if I brought meds or not. Was worth the title (Master of Ambition) IMO.

Ah. Maybe a little harder than corsair then. Cor wasn't -real- difficult. Went in with a pretty set plan of WS/Quick Draw/Ability order and got about 1/2 way through my anticipated order and he was dead. Corsairs are, by nature, kinda smooshy though.

But my point remains valid; not a Maat fight! <_<


Edit: Also, ironically, Corsair is probably worthy of the title too. "Master of Chance". I can imagine the fight going a little differently if he Wild Cards and restores himself completely/uses abilities more intelligently.

True. BLU is also luck based since with the right spells and insta cast he can be pretty nasty.

Still gotta do COR G5, but finding a safe spot to farm a COR Testimony looks somewhat difficult.

Anymore with /dnc pretty much any job can solo EP-DCs fairly effectively. The entrance to Arrapago Reef north of Nashmau has a ~DC Lamia Fatedealer hanging around outside.

PLD Maat has got to be one of the easiest fights after the updates SE has given them. Only job I can imagine him being easier on is WAR.

Engaging and getting hit instantly with Bad Breath or Eyes on Me is no fun. Not to mention hes immune to stun and if he decides to pick the wrong spells that you are going down no matter what.

The battle is pure luck where him wasting time on cures or weak spells means a win for you and anything else means you are likely eating floor.

Btw, anyone care to rank DNC/SCH G5s? Ive been meaning to do both for the fun of clearage.

Who doesn't? I usually ignore invites from BLUs since it just seems like no one has common sense reguarding post Zilart jobs and thinks full AF is all you need from 60-75. BLUs usually being the worst due to them thinking they need to focus on MP only.

I'm talking nearly any job that wasn't an original or zilart job is usually played wrong. Tired of full AF BLU/COR/PUP/DNC/SCHs. DRG seems to also pick up a bunch of tards to who think looking cool > being a worthwhile additon to the PT.

I did DNC/SCH G5s at 75. SCH is a joke at that point since you can one shot the book and 3 shot him.

The DNC one isn't too bad, but you do need to be careful. I'd say dnc was harder.
