chances are it won't be. i refuse to get psyched up for some shit that's ultimately going to disappoint. even cautious optimism used to fail me concerning FFXI updates, so now i just go for full on fucking negativity so i can be pleasantly surprised if any part of it is the least bit enjoyable.

nah, there were people on bahamut who were in their 50s and 60s in some of my linkshells. given, those linkshells broke a while back so maybe they don't play anymore but the point is that they did at one point. some of them even had multiple 75s.

then again, i guess gaming becomes okay again after a certain point just due to how much free time you have after you've retired.

it's a lot like living with your mom. in your 20s it's sketchy, in your 30s it's sad, but in your 40s it's like yeah well your mom is getting older so it's nice she has you around to take care of things.
