You've actually soloed BWL? I was thinking of trying this since its the next step up after MC.

Personally, no, but I've talked with people that have done quite a bit of it. Each boss still drops around 150g.

Razorgore is duoable. Vael pretty much requires 3. Chromaggus is duoable but takes fucking forever.

These weeks we're currently doing the first 5 bosses in AQ40 with 2.

Karazhan is a good starter spot, attumen is really easy, everything else gets a little bit more difficult.

Big Bad Wolf is a dirty dirty whore. Takes so long, and I basically have to work ardent defender/ds/bop/loh cooldowns the whole time.

I can't seem to figure out curator, I don't have an arcane set and I can't keep mana up killing sparks fast enough because I have to sol/jol. Gonna mess with it tomorrow as holy.

Nightbane's a joke, Maiden may be even easier than attumen, moroes is not as bad as you'd think, and that's all I've really messed with in kara.

It's ~350g tho if you just go in burn attumen/maiden/moroes/opera/nightbane, and takes maybe 1.5 hours, faster once you get used to everything. Biggest time sink for me in it now is running to vendor shit lol.

Depends where you want to start, could do H MGT for the Mount/Orb/Bag/Pet, ZG for the Mounts/pets, Kara for the mount/gold, MC for the legendarys, doomwalker for the gold. Honestly its all about what you want to accomplish.
I solo H MGT every day + Legendary bosses in MC at least every week. Doomwalker is a bitch to find up.

Also, attempted ZA today. Got Eagle boss to 65% using SoV and 50% using SoL before it enraged and killed me in one hit. The magic damage is nuts so I think this might be a DK fight. Tryed bear and got him to 70% before I just died, the bear phase with Bleed+100% is just to much.

Soloed Ossirian today, was retardedly easy. His stun breaks on dmg so... yeah, lol. Didn't bother with pylons or anything at all.

Tried duo fel reaver, but the moonkin was just nonstop on the run from sparks, ended up raging at about 50%. Going to try trio next week maybe, not sure tho, TK trash is ridonculous.


edit: Falaras have you tried Lynx? I was thinking he may be fairly easy.

Haven't tried the Lynx, mainly because I remember healing on that fight to be a bitch so I can't imagine trying to solo it. I was also gonna try Void Reaver so sucks that you can't solo it. Played around with Kazzak too but there's no way to pull him to a place that won't make you take fall damage from his detonation, which is just to much damage to mitigate. I think next I'm going to try to solo every heroic, running out of stuff to do lol.

Solo Void Reaver is utterly hopeless for pally, the orbs are literally non-stop, as soon as one lands the next comes, they're all on you, they have 20 yard radius when they land, and they silence for I think it was 12 seconds. Even if you can survive (which isn't too terribly tough, he doesn't hit as hard as a good block set), there's no way to do enough dmg while either silenced or running 21 yards every 5 seconds or so. (Not sure it would be possible anyway, I think it requires about 5100dps to beat rage timer)


Plus, if you can kill the first 2 trash packs in there, you are the fucking man. If you can solo the 3rd (2 pally, 2 astromancer, 1 war, 1 star scryer, all 100% immune to interrupts/silences/stuns), you are truly a god among men. Not to mention all the trash packs in VR's room itself are no cakewalk either. I had a 5k dps moonkin with me and it was all still pretty damn challenging, especially those humanoid packs.


I was wondering about Kazzak too, guess I'll make sure I have someone with me for him.


I think I'll try lynx tomorrow, and maybe dragonhawk too.

Finally got my blood DK to a respectable gear level, so I took him for a spin and went and soloed Onyxia today, and after remembering not to stand in the deep breath and 2 wipes later I killed her lol.

Soloed the first couple bosses in MC also, but had others come for the rest. I imagine I could do at least the first half of those bosses, except the one with the 75% healing reduction debuff...kinda shitty heh.

Gonna try out kara tomorrow, though I think i need to get a key still.

You can avoid deep breath? I just ate it and continued lol

You can avoid it, as pally it only does about 4k dmg with fire aura tho, I'd imagine it's 6-7k on a dk before reductions. Shouldn't be a huge deal, but yeah no reason not to avoid it anyway, since you're usually standing close to a side when she flies just to be able to hit her anyway.

You avoid it by just getting off the main floor, onto the little siding wall stuff, there's a clear line the whole way around.


Also, for Gehennas you can resist the healing debuff pretty much 100% with ~300 shadow resist. I keep my old season 1 arena shadow resist setup that's all enchanted with mana/5 pretty much just for that.

Gehannas is by far the hardest solo I've ever done, made some mistakes though. Killed him with a SoV tic as he killed me. Ardent Defender is huge because it isn't affected by the healing reduction, and if your going to LoH use it during Bubble so it actually heals you to full.

I guess shadow gear works too, never thought of that. Time to get out the Sharaz setup!
