I've heard about the term Business Credit Score, and I'm curious how you create a seperate credit report from a personal credit report of the owner of the business.
My business is registered and tax paying, but it still comes back to the sole proprieter - me, and my social sec. number.
I have a business checking account under the business name, and use it. Does that, as well as paying the monthly services I pay for under the business name (my advertising fees with the yellow pages, business phone line service, google ad words, etc.) establish a SEPERATE financial history??
I am eligible for a VA SBA loan as a veteran, and though my business shows (through tax statements) a great first 2 years - and accompanied with a solid business plan showing non stop growth - I know that my personal credit score is not very solid (around low 600's) and not sufficient for an expansion loan of around 10k.
Any advice is appreciated. I dont want to google this because it comes back with garbage "loan" offers.
