Actually, that makes me wonder, the girls that do have facial hair (at any age) and pretend they don't... why don't they just wax it? I know a couple (one with a mustache and one with a few chin hairs) and I can't figure out if they just don't care, if they don't realize its kinda gross, or if they've just never seen themselves in a mirror.

My HS had a no facial hair policy, and the second I graduated I never shaved completely again (aside from said incident).

Sadly the dean said he was 100% behind any teachers decisions at the college. Going over his head would've been overkill and wouldn't have done me any favors. She was just a power-hungry bitch who didn't like facial hair or long hair as a personal preference. She was one of those fake happy-all-the-time types and a super fundamentalist. She once told me that being an atheist (which she knew I was) was the same as being a Nazi.

Problem was, she had it in writing in her syllabus at the beginning that 80% of our grade was based on her subjective opinion of whether or not she thought we were ready (she was elementary music teacher even though I wasn't going into elementary music ed). Was some definite horseshit. I contacted several people in the education department about it and they basically told me, "She's scary, forceful and gets what she wants. Decide if you want your hair or your diploma."
