Now that is a great example of dimensionality, remember that this is attempting to represent an object which isn't an optical illusion, when it looks like the perspective is changing, think of it more like the other sides of a cube becoming visible as you turn past a corner.

Except there are more ways to turn this cube, notice the shadow as well, in reality it would be a three dimensional shadow, you could walk around the shadow and look at it from different perspectives.

A 4 dimensional object being rendered in a 3 dimensional scene and then flattened to your 2 dimensional monitor...quite a bit of loss involved there.

Don't forget the interpretation due to your dual observations from slightly different angles being recombined and processed in your head... after being filtered through your prejudices and whatnot.

Btw, that's a five dimensional object, it's a cube rendered in 4 spatial dimensions which is changing state across a temporal dimension.

That was one of the good scenes in that movie. I could practically hear people suck in their breath right before he started screaming(the theater was that quiet). Also, that van is kickass.
