According to Calculator I got 87.5% acc on WS before food.
That doesn't Include aftermath effect.
Which at bird camp probably in my best interest to keep L1 up and just eat meat.
So if my acc is capped then +10 int does better then +4 Dex +1 str +5 store TP ?
Definitely.
EDIT: Dammit, Store TP. Depends on if it changes your x-hit, but that 5 STP on WS alone is not dropping a hit if you don't have some kind of x-hit setup that's very close to dropping a hit to begin with.
I just realized I forgot to add in the DEX ACC, so the ACC portion was off. As for the sTP, I calculated it using Dual Wield = 20% (Assuming Earring), and came up with 5.1TP/Hit v 5.3TP/hit. If Wiki is correct, you use Perdu/Koggel, and you gain the benefit of both swings (For a total of either 10.2 or 10.6 TP from the WS), then the extra sTP from the Enkidu brings you from needing 18 hits to 17 hits. Note that unless you get a DA, it looks like you'll need the same amount of swings anyways to reach 100% TP. So, I doubt that is going to do much for you.
Assuming 5.1 TP/hit in TP phase, I'm not even seeing 5 more STP on WS dropping him to 17 hits.
Slops: 5.1*18+5.1*2=102
Enkidu's:
5.1*17+5.4*2=97.5
5.1*18+5.4*2=102.6
Tizona / Perdu.
When I Finally get one I'll sub Koggs on the mobs that count / when I hold TP higher then 100%.
With no store TP Tizona/Perdu with suppa is 5.0 TP a hit.
Rajas and Brutal bring it down to 5.3TP (19 swings)
And looking like i would need +6 Store TP to bring it down to 18 Swings
You're definitely not shaving a hit off on WS then. Incidentally, you could move to a 17-hit by wearing Rajas during TP but it's an odd number of hits so the impact would be minimal between random whiffs, DA, and offhand hits. Rajas during WS has no effect on x-hit number regardless of Enkidu's Leggings, whether worn during TP phase or not.
Assuming you've had the chance to play around with it a decent amount, how do you feel about Tizona/Perdu as opposed to your previous weapon setup?
Wasn't sure what his TP set was, so I just assumed it was the same sTP.
[No Enkidu] (5*1.05) = 5.25*2 = 10.5
[Enkidu] (5*1.1) = 5.5*2 = 11
[TP you need to get to 100 without Enkidu] = (100-10.5) = 89.5
[TP you need to get to 100 with Enkidu] = (100-11) = 89
I'll go with Night's suggestion and calculate it without the sTP since BLU should melee in Homam anyways.
[No Enkidu for WS] (89.5/5.25) = 17.047... (Round up to 18)
[Enkidu for WS] (89/5.25) = 16.95... (Round up to 17)
Like I said earlier, the 17th/18th hit should occur on the same round unless you manage to DA anyways. Thus, it doesn't appear that you'll benefit from WSing in Enkidu sTP wise. Thus, it appears Morrigan's legs still make the better WS piece.
Edit: Didn't see the Brutal Earring part, just used theassumed 5sTP from your last post. In that case, both sets will need 17 hits.
I haven't had to much time to dick around with. (1 merit party couple of campaigns 2 besiedges)
Over all I'm pretty happy with the results so far, Koggels been givign me the shaft but i'm hoping to get that pretty soon. Once I do I'll post my gears on the other thread.
Unfortunately I don't parce so I cant tell as of yet how well I perform over other blues. or even other sword choices >.<
(I do TP In Rajas though).
4 STR is likely to beat 7 attack (especially when using Fort Axe, but also for higher DMG G.Axes). It's basically 1 fSTR vs. the pDIF increase of 4 attack. And there's always the chance the DEX increases your critical hitrate, which is also a more effective way of increasing average pDIF usually. Again, and I'll stress on this, it only goes for capped ACC pre-neck (or if you need 3 or less more ACC to cap, the DEX will give you this).
Summarizing, for TPing:
Capped ACC: Kubira beads
Uncapped ACC: Ancient torque
There's very few situations where torques will win: you'd need to be about 3% hitrate shy of cap, and not much more or less.
Note: obviously doesn't go for Love and Justice torques. Those are actually good.
Aye, same w/ MNK depending on H2H merits.
What are the minimum augments I need on Dweomer Scythe to beat Perdu?
And legs options for DRK please if you don't have homam yet.
Wrong thread. My b
For King's Justice/Raging Rush, which body's better?:
Hauberk vs Hecatomb vs Aurum.
Justice Torque VS Ancient Torque will full GKT merits and Bushinomimi, eating meat.
Head: Ace´s Helm
Weapon: Hagun
Sub: Pole Grip
Ammo: Black Tathlum
Body: Haubergeon+1
Hands: Dusk Gloves
Ear1: Bushinomimi
Ear2: Brutal Earring
Ring1: Raja's Ring
Ring2: Sniper's Ring+1
Back: Cuchulain's Mantle
Waist: Swift Belt
Legs: Byakko's Haidate
Feet: Usukane Sune-Ate
Leaning towards Ancient Torque but then again I´m not exactly a FFXI math person. So any proper math on it would be greatly appreciated. Thx
Depends on target. If you can cap acc with Ancient Torque and eat meat whereas Justice would leave you under by more than ~2acc, then Ancient will win.
If you are going to use a Pizza anyway and will cap with Justice, then Justice wins.
No single answer, though you have a decent amount of accuracy on gear.
