Yea, I realize how minimal the difference between assault and hollow is, but it is the best acc earring for war currently available barring some jesus augment on an earring. Whereas Ethereal is good, but you can buy a 5 atk earring and a 5 eva earring, so it's all about the 3% dmg taken to MP which is very good but as is on rdm tank I do fairly good, and soonish my ls is gonna have a Gjalhorn so yea...both good, hard to decide.

on pld you have chivalry, autorefresh, gorget, ares possibly, bard, and refresh from rdm before etheral on anything serious in addition to taking minimal damage from /nin. Think about if you really do need more mp in your situations. Whether you do or not varies with the person and situation. If you're tanking on rdm you should be tanking on pld instead. If you do solo it's great.
And for nin. Depends on how good your mages are. you shouldn't be getting hit much anyway and all the situations where I did have mp trouble were from the rdm or brd being slow with refresh/ballad.

hollow earring obviously is the best acc peice. It's also a very good ws ear for thf and possibly raging rush on war depending on how much dex you're aiming for.

If you're tanking on rdm you should be tanking on pld instead.

I would argue that for the majority of mobs where engaging is impractical or going to yield significantly decreased returns and for fights where you don't need huge spikes of enmity produced, RDM > PLD. Especially the fast attackers.

Told him Hauby before and received no response, but I wonder if the ACC would be more helpful in an uncapped situation (Since that appears to be the case for him unless someone can go over it and confirm otherwise). He says he's working on Bomblet, so there's nothing that can be done at the moment (Unless there's gear I'm not aware of since I'm not DRK).

Giving up 5 acc and 1% triple attack for 10 attack 5 str and 5 dex is win in my book. Haubergeon (or Hauberk) are dirt cheap.

Not sure if he will bother buying it since he only melees for shits and gigs (He's a mage person, so he tends to deck out his mage classes first). Since I'm almost certain he won't though, I was hoping for some backup on my ACC check (And even Store-TP if it makes a difference) of his gear, which had him as uncapped.

Edit: To clarify, it's likely he'll be on BRD, BLM, RDM, PLD, or SAM before he ever goes to an event as DRK.

NQ hauby is 13.75 acc on a 2h, 1.25 acc and 1% TA will not beat 5 str 10 attack.. god forbid hauby+1
