depending on your agi without handgear skadi will give either one less or the same base damage increase as alkys and 7 more r.att regardless (assuming of course that r.acc is capped with alkys on otherwise the choice is obvious).

If you have both you should be using skadi for QD anyway so I'd say use them and leave the alkys in your MH for inv+1.

Polearm. Crab sushi if your hitrate sucks, meat with decent to good gear. Best option is Love Halberd, 5-hit Tomoe is definitely a contender too.

Hi, I was wondering, for a Monk who only does Salvage (really), what would be better?

Caestus (Stage 4 Spharai) or Destroyers?

I am talking about using these against standard salvage enemies; gears, chariots, starting floor mobs, NMs, etc.

I may be stuck with Caestus for some time, so i'm wondering if they might be of some use.

I'm pretty sure Destroyers still win, but I want to confirm.

It's probably best for you to use Hades Sainti. Subtle Blow/Enmity+makes them hard to beat in Salvage, and they also have Acc for wherever that matters. I dunno, monks out there?

PS. Why are you upgrading relic knuckles if you only do Salvage with Monk?

I used to use the sainti when I first starting doing it, but I no longer have any trouble tanking chariots or sharing/keeping hate, so i've grown out of them and now I find it better to prioritize offense over defense and use Destroyers. But yeah, I still would like to know how Caestus and Destroyers parse up with each other.

Also, are you asking why i'm upgrading the knuckles just because I only do Salvage or because I do it on Monk? Right now it's pretty much the only endgame activity I have time for until the summer again, but I will be using it in other endgame activities in the future where I can.

If you're asking why i'm upgrading them because I use only Monk in Salvage, i'd imagine they would improve the efficiency of our runs. (lol)

Ok basically i'm lvling rng atm is already 52 and i will be using it 90% of the time for Odin, sandworm, DI maybe 1 or 2 more events outside of those 3. I'll have either 4 archery/marksmanship merits. I have a hellfire +1 and my question is.
Selenes/E bow or Hellfire +1. Also someone that knows more about this convince me that e bow is worth the 3.9m bc i kind of don't wanna spend that much.

Archerys main advantage is being able to stand out of AoE range while not straying too far from its sweet spot. Aside from that HF+1 and Ebow arent that different in damage. If you want to save money try to get a good fey bow.

Think 5str wings but not sure if this help but, I just notice that my slugshot on colibri is best with hachiryu feet. I was hovering around 1060ish with scout feet, 1070ish with denali, and 1082 with hachiryu feet. About buffs, something weird happened tonight when I was meriting on birds. I got those numbers without brd songs and with brd songs. The brd was using minuet/march (pt wants it) and I was doing kclub rng with squid sushi.

Leveling COR on lessers, if I made parties and a Samurai didn't have polearm leveled, I didn't invite them :/

Honestly, Penta Thrusts with a COR or a BRD rapes lessers. Without another party out there, we usually did 20~25k/hr (don't remember my parses, so it might have been more or less). Got from 55-60 in a single party. Was hawt.
