HNM's in Aion

As more of us get playing, either CAion or NA release, we're bound to see more and more "HNM" type mobs; might as well start posting pics so people know what to look (out) for....and ones to stay away from.

No, I'm not a tiny character; the mob is just *that* big.

There's also a giant monkey HNM that pops in the same area, and if the T-Rex is up at the same time....they fight each other O.O (sorry, no pics of that yet D: )

I believe the Behemoth in Eltnen is technically an HNM

doesn't have to be higher than Cap, if you look at FFXI Roc Sim and Serket are considered HNMs because of how much harder they are for lvl 55 mobs, although they can be taken down with small parties or solo in some cases by some people, one way we can gauge them as HNMs is that they rage. though this doesn't happen in Aion, that I know of at least.

The mob is a 47 Heroic, when that area was released the level cap was 45.

Don't forget Raging Kraterr near Elten!

Not an HNM, but still a badass mob. Think he was like Lv36 or something.

Oh well I can't find it and I'm going out now. I just remember the player watching the fight and the T-Rex killed the monkey and immediatly turned on the player recording and killed him lol

I ran into something while hunting for a rift in Eltnen. It was in the Kaiden Headquarters down on a small island only accessible through Lava. Was about the size of that T-Rex, but humanoid form and floated, made out of lava. Had a giant ass sword and shield with a crazy face on it, i'll see if I can find him again during open beta and snag a screeny.

Also, I think that Behemoth is just a mini-raidboss. Seen Lv30s killing it before.

That behemoth assraped everybody that got near it when we were fucking with it in CB. It hit me for about 2k through stoneskin for instadeath, and I don't know that anybody lasted more than 2 hits that i saw. I thought somebody told me its a lvl 40 raid boss or something.

The hate system on RMBehemoth is pretty fucked up. You can be on the hate list and be dead for 5minutes, raise up and be killed as he runs 30meters to your body just to eat you up again. (pic of sin rez'n and gettin rocked)

As the fight itself...it's a joke when you are 40+ can take down in 10~ minutes if your melee know when to start dps and when to stop.

Behemoth can be done with 5-6 45s but takes a while.

edit: That pic above me was back in the gap when we couldn't even land anything on it. If you're not closer to the level of the mob don't even attempt to kill it, you'll just resist.
