I personally like their bedframes, chairs/lighting aren't bad either.

Say no to Ikea. Unless you're a college student.
What are the important things in life? For some people its out doing the smiths..
I won't lie. I like nice stuff but Ikea is nice for apartment shit (Shit you dont care about..) For nice shit have someone make it. My uncle builds shit all the time and he does nice work..
The down side to shit like that is good luck moving it. His dresser is probably half a ton. Shit is heavy.
Ikea isnt meant for high quality stuff that you're gonna keep forever >_>
i wonder where the OP went

It had to be done.
I'd only be upset if they changed their font to Papyrus.
Glass is cheaper to make than Plastic.
Just thought I'd throw that fact out there when someone uses "glass" as some indication of prestige value.
Melting sand isn't exactly pinnacle technology anymore. Also, anyone who thinks cardboard furniture is the peak isn't an adult yet. One day, you wake up and realize that furniture that won't fall apart next year is in fact worth the extra money.
I don't know what you people do to your furniture, but when I was away at college I started to get rid of the thin plastic layer covered cardboard furniture that my parents bought when I was 4. This fall apart next year shit makes me wonder if cardboard furniture technology has taken a turn for the worst.
That having been said, I don't mean that Ikea sells awesome stuff or the best prices, just that the furniture I've had from there seemed fine for what it needed to do; wouldn't deck out a house in it though.
