A guy that just beat me on Sunday in my Mom's work league died today. Kind of weird, never met the dude and he was probably happy as hell seeing how I was the only undefeated left in the league.

    WEIRD SHIT MAN

Not sure what is going to happen to his team now.

Oh and I moved to pick up the Bills D this week, the only other possible team out there is Colts D.

    That's really sad

Maybe one of his buddies or someone else in the league could take it over or something, idk. Uncharted territory for sure.

I smell an ass whooping coming from Tyche this week in 20man. God damn that league is a crap shoot, lol. Fun though.

This was just too amusing not to post.

Guy in my money league that got pissed because I wouldn't trade both S.Smiths for R.Brown a few weeks ago posted this during his rant about me being "dumb."

Brown is STILL worth both Smiths. Take a peek at Brown's stats.
With our scoring system Brown is averaging 22pts and NYG Smith 21pts. /facepalm.

Irks me that he beat me in week 1. I had him beat in every slot but RB. Forte put up 1.25pts for me, and AP put up 53pts for him. I lost by 27. AP has only averaged 14pts since that game, while Forte has averaged 17 during the same period.

No doubt he probably thinks he's a FF guru compared to me now because of that. Don't get to face him again until the last game of the season

Of course, this is the stuff that makes FF so much fun though.

No, lol. I kept them both. I drafted NYG Smith hoping he'd emerge as their #1 receiver and got lucky with that. I -almost- traded him in week 1 iirc, but decided to give him a little bit more time. Needless to say, that paid off HUGE.

CAR Smith is a homer pick, I can't let him go. So now I've got the Smiths for my starting WRs.

CAR facing WAS and TB the next two weeks too, so hopefully I'll get some good production out of him. Got H.Ward on the bench too who's actually been putting up better numbers, but I can't give up on Smitty just yet.

Went with the Massaquoi/Washington trade, by the way.

In this league I'm pretty deep at RB. Turner, Julius Jones, Lynch, Bradshaw, Buckhalter, and McCoy. Next thing I'm workin on is offering Buckhalter and Bradshaw for Hines Ward (I'm still pretty weak at WR, and his RBs are TERRIBLE. Best one he has is Fatboy White who's more and more getting abandoned for Chris Johnson). Also offered him Bradshaw/Buckhalter/Braylon Edwards for Randy Moss. We'll see which he goes with. I'm really hoping for Moss as I don't think Edwards is gunna do shit for the Jets.

So I traded Flacco for Hasselbeck a bit ago in ma money league. Rivers is my #1 and Hassel is usually worth more FF wise than Flacco is. Well, the gamble didn't quite work out for me just yet. Rivers bye week is here and Hassel is still questonable. Even if Hassel starts I don't think he'd make it through the entire game. He's a pussy when it comes to injuries to begin with, and rib injuries are no fucking joke.

So I needed a QB. Not just any ordinary scrub. Someone who is a living legend. Someone like...Jake The Mistake!

Now I just need to pick up WAS DEF.

You deserve to lose for trading flacco for hasselbeck. Given flacco has beaten on some really weK teams, and was pedestrian against NE, it was for pos hasselbeck.

I was offered to trade for drew brees and Westbrook, giving up Brady and Jacobs. I'm of the opinion that Brady is about to explode. Jacobs has sucked here recently though, and his backup has as many yards on fewer carries. Last year I dumped Westbrook at precisely the right time for Michael turner. Is now the time to try and get him?

Hassel has nice FF numbers when he's in there. That was just a gamble that failed for me. I knew at the time that when he would be healthy again was the big risk involved. Now I get to go with a crazy homer pick. It'll be the one game of the year I'll actually be cheering for Jake. Still gotta' have fun with it, ya know.

As far as your trade, that's a pretty tough call right there. I'm not too fond of Brady, but I have a feeling he's about to light up too. Brees is pretty consistent, but that ground game is taking some pts away him.

Jacobs...yeah. I still don't see him doing much even against OAK. I agree that Bradshaw is looking more like the #1 than him.

I'd say Westbrook for Jacobs would be a decent trade, but I'm on the fence with Brees and Brady. Given Brees hasn't had a TD in two weeks, I think he's about to put some serious numbers up again too.

It's a little tricky with it being Brees' bye week though. That offer might not be around come next week.

I'm also going to the game Sunday, so it'd be nice to have a reason to cheer for Clutch.

I need opinions on who to start this week at QB while Rivers is on a bye. My terrific options are:

    1. Culpepper vs PIT
    2. Boller vs MIN
    3. Carr vs OAK

I'm leaning towards Carr BUT both Culpepper and Boller look like locks to start this week while Carr only looks probable. I'm also thinking that option 4, not starting a QB at all, may be my best bet....

    How about this one...

    Nate Washington v. Housh

Nate coming off of a mild concussion, but has 3 straight weeks with touchdowns.

House is coming off his best performance of the year and is playing a shitty Jacksonville Secondary.

I also have Hightower @ Running Back w/ Jerome Harrison on the bench. I figured this was a good play, but I'm going to throw this one out there just in case as well.

Nate should be 100% this weekend from every report I've seen. (I have him in one of my leagues, so I've been keeping tabs on it).

It's a pretty tough call though. Hassel is questionable for Sunday, and I'm not sure he would even finish the game if he does play, so Housh might have Wallace tossing to him. They are facing JAC though, who's DEF is ranked 32nd against the pass.

On the flip side of that coin, Nate is facing Indy. Odds are Collins is going to be airing it out quite a bit. Indy's DEF is ranked 8th in the league against the pass though.

I would probably go with Housh, but it's a close call.

I need some opinions on my flex. A.Bradshaw vs OAK or R.Williams vs NYJ?

First one I'd say Housh without a doubt. On the RBs it's hard to tell really. Hightower's such a great fit in that offense with all the receptions, but he isn't exactly the best in terms of rushing yards. Mangini seemed like he wanted to ride Harrison hard last week, and they are just playing the Bills. Their secondary is beaten up though, so it might be a bunch of passing from Anderson.

Injuries might solve that one for you, but it sounds like Bradshaw will at least be in the game, likely in a smaller role once the game gets out of hand. Last time that happened they put Gartrell Johnson in there to run in the garbage time. Williams no doubt will be playing, albeit against the Jets, but the run is the Dolphins' bread and butter. He seems like a safer bet.
