Should I start Jay Cutler @ Atlanta, or Eli Manning @ New Orleans?
Should I start Jay Cutler @ Atlanta, or Eli Manning @ New Orleans?
Should I start...
Brandon Jacobs vs the Saints
or
Brian Westbrook vs the Raiders
Leaning Westbrook at this point because of how bad the Raiders are, but not entirely sure.
Eli on turf with Plantars Fasciitis is going to be a hell of an undertaking. Planters isn't something you knock in a couple of weeks, it's a tough injury to beat and hurts like hell. It'll be bothering him for the entire season. It's a shitty shitty injury to have. The turf is going to make it much worse. He may play just fine, but I can tell you first hand that his foot isn't going to be painless.
i had that shit two years ago, so brutal
How well is Cadillac gonna do against Carolina? I need to start 2 out of Kevin Smith, Brandon Jacobs, Cadillac, and Reggie Bush.
That's a really iffy question. I think the Panthers D is going to be coming out really strong tomorrow.
As bad as we're hurting at DT though, I think he'll still do some nice work. Plus, if TB gets any TDs, it's more than likely going to be Caddy taking them in.
He'll probably be looking at something like 60yrds and a TD.
Edit: Check out www.panthers.com. It'll give you a good idea of why I say I think the D is probably going to be looking better than it has all season.
McNabb or Matt Ryan this week.
McNabb is playing against Oakland, and, that seems like such a sure choice.
But Ryan is playing against Chicago, who are allowing like 226.0 passing yards per game, and Ryan last year had a 300+ yard game against them (and hes playing better now, while they are playing worse).
I'm seeing McNabb as throwing more TD's than Ryan (he only had one against chicago last year, and 3 last week in his game). but ryan having a higher % as well as more yards, theres always the chance of Donovan coming out of the game early as well.
McNabb is a near-certain lock to have a great day, and has three hot targets right now in Jackson, Maclin, and Celek. Go with him.
Willie Parker (vs. Cleveland) or DeAngelo Williams (vs TB)? Parker is probable and his notes say he probably isn't starting but he will play, and Williams has yet to really have a breakout game.
Jeremy Maclin or David Clowney? Maclin had a big game last week and Reid has expressed that he wants to give him a bigger role, but Jackson didn't do anything last week. Also keep in mind that with Asomugha blocking Jackson, Maclin might have another big day. With Cotchery out today, Clowney might be a good choice to share #1 receiver duties with Edwards. My other two starting WRs are NYG Smith and Hines Ward.
I think I'd go DWill. Gotta remember that Parker's coming off of that injury. That and I think Mendenhall will get more carries honestly.
Hope you went with D.Williams.
yeah, went with fucking parker who net me a total of -1, whereas williams would have gotten me 26. should have asked sooner. might lose because of that dumb decision too god dammit.
You played Willie Parker over Dwilliams? You deserve to lose out the season.
Edit - Slow down Funky Chicken! Skirk McGuirk can't take no more dick!
You can't blame the match-up too much considering Cleveland is at the bottom of the pack in rush defense, but yeah.. Parker's been banged up so I could see how he wouldn't play much.
Fucking Ray Rice, blowing up against a D that hadn't given up a rushing TD all year, fuck fuck fuck. Michael Turner better explode tonight.
Man, after all the crap about overvaluing rb's in 20 man, I just took the lead head to head against the league's top scorer with both of my rb's having negative scores at the time lol.
I'm seriously loving this league, after 3 weeks we had no undefeateds, and now after 6 we're about to be down to a single 1 loss team.
