Sadly.. I'd say Rice and Harvin. Jennings is too fucking hit or miss and hasn't done anything huge in a while. You could look at the fact that he's getting more targets than Driver, but he's just not getting the ball and doing something with it.

Now note that I've said that, he will explode this week.

I thought the same thing because Harvin's been a beast this year and Jennings has been such a damn disappointment. I do think Harvin is going to have a huge day though. Thanks!

CAR S.Smith vs ATL or Crabtree vs CHI?

Yeah, ATL has the weaker pass defense, but their rush defense is just as horrible. CAR could end up just running on them all day and keeping Jake's attempts to less than 20, meaning little production from Smitty again.

I see CHI winning with SF having to go to the pass often in the 2nd half to play catch up. Crabtree still doesn't have a TD...so I feel like he's due. I'm worried SF could do the same and keep A.Smith's attempts around 20-25 and try to exploit CHI's weak run defense. A.Smith has had 22/32/45 attempts in his first 3 starts, which isn't a large enough pool to draw any real conclusions.

Opinions?

I'm hoping Vernon and Gore get theirs against Chicago, but 'da bears' will pull off the win because the 49ers were just a flash in the pan.

As far as Steve Smith, I think Smitty had one of his only good weeks against Atlanta. If so, I'd start him there.

True, but the cold and rain don't actually effect games nearly as much as you'd think at times. Brady + Snow = lol5TD2ndQ. Okay, so Clutch isn't Brady (DUH), but still. I could see Smith going off. Even Campbell had a good day against the Atlanta Pass D.

Just so you know, if it was my post that convinced you to go for it, Smith will get hurt in the first quarter and Crabtree will bust out a 200 yard game. That or Fox will get the brilliant idea to attack Atl's pass defense by throwing them the ball repeatedly.


You should be safe if you were already sold on aki's comments though!

It's hard to say what Crabtree's going to do, and the likelyhood of him getting a couple 100 yard games this season seems pretty high.


But it would still be really, really hard to justify starting him over someone like SS.
