    2. Here is a screen grab from a 0 PPR league I am in for Welker(note: Team is not mine)

    http://i48.tinypic.com/9fppw6.jpg

Welker managed 21 in a non-PPR setup done CORRECTLY.

In your garbage, he scored 11.13. If there was a bonus awarded for kicking arse, I am guessing it was the .13 lol.....

    Edit - Also to Gadritan....

Jets beat the Pats without Welker earlier in the year.

Yesterday, the Pats dominated the Jets with Welker.

Who is more valuable to the team, Moss or Welker? There are certainly valid arguments on both sides of that fence. I would bet a lot of money old Bill would take Welker over Moss if he had to choose.
The Pats would have beat the brakes off the jets yesterday without Welker =/. I think the Jets win was more of a product of just being 2 games into the season and Brady having no timing. He couldn't hit a barn in those games. I think his TE whom I can't name was his top receiver.

Edit: Welker averages like 11 yards a catch, it isn't like his catches are producing nothing. I think that's a misnomer.

I'd take a Brady with a year off over Sanchez starting like his 2nd game ever with minimal college playing time.

Imo they lost because of not having a solid possession WR.

Oh noez, 130 yards and a td outscored 190 yards and no scores, by like a whopping 1/2 point.

The world is going to end now dawg!

And you're an idiot if you think Bill would keep Welker over Moss given a "forced choice between the 2," Edelmen and Faulk can play his role just fine, nobody can do what Moss can do at the price he's willing to play for the Pats for.

How did Charles get 2 TDs and only get 9 points?

Yes, the supporting evidence of 3 Superbowls full of possession WRs and a Superbowl loss with Moss is so inept...you're a freaking idiot dude.

Btw - Moss is my favorite non-Titan player in NFL history, but Bellichek still takes Welker over him.

CBSSPORTS is horrible and only updates to correct scores hours after a game ends. It costs money too, go figure.

The Pats had the same record going into week 11 last year with Cassel as they do this year with Brady. Does that mean Cassel is on par with Brady? We both know the answer to that one.

Moss has more yards and twice as many TDs as Welker btw. If you watched that first Jets game you'd know that Brady was still gun shy and they had no ground game. They threw 47 times with Brady only completing 23 with no TDs and one pick. He looked like shit. But hay, let's chalk it up to Welker not being out there. DDDEERRRRPPPPP!

Yeah...that's actually kind of my point too. It's not like he's getting nothing for his catches in a non-PPR. He's still one of the better WR to have. I just used the 0 pts for 0 yrds on 15 catches as an extreme example of how catches don't mean a whole lot if they're not helping move the ball down the field.

And again, they won 3 Superbowls with all average to above-average possession receivers. They lost with the deep threat in Moss.

If he had Welker, he could make more 5-15 yard passes to an open WR with good hands. He would have had a higher completion % and likely at least 1 TD as an outcome.

    Think.....more....

Ok, you're right, Troy Brown was irreplaceable.

And then Deion Branch was irreplaceable.

    And then... wait a minute...

And man, Welker was WAY better than moss the year they went 18-1. I mean, he caught an amazing POINT EIGHT SEVEN FIVE more catches per game! Who cares about the 300 more yards and 15 more touchdowns man... POINT EIGHT SEVEN FIVE MORE CATCHES!!!!11!!oneone!!!

AND, Welker has even carried them to just as many super bowl wins as Moss!

Also, Edelman had 8 catches for 98 yards in that game, and Galloway had another 5 playing a possession role. And Moss's longest catch of the day was 9 yards. You're retarded.

The Pats schedule last year was among the easiest in the league. This year, not so much.

I'm not saying I would take Welker over Moss, or that it is the right decision, but Bill will, and I believe has, state that Welker is more valuable than anyone else on offense other than Brady.

Bill will take those type of WRs than the Moss type because they have won him 3 Superbowls, and the other hasn't, and that is the bottom-line.

Which is why he has Edelman sitting there waiting for the day Welker actually has to get paid. Because on that day, Welker is gone.

Oh, and Bill's lips are firmly sealed on the Faulk dong, as far as who he'd say is most valuable.

Well, if Welker keeps catching 15 balls a game and getting pounded on for it, that day will come sooner than later.

I swear I thought the bottom line was which scoring we prefer in FF. There's no bonus for SBs or who's "more valuable," to an offense.

Edit: Remember we're talking FF pts here. Brees hasn't seen a SB, but year to year he's one of the top FF QBs and I doubt anyone factors in if he's won a SB when they draft him.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure it was also because of defense that the Pats won those three titles, and not just because of the 'possession receivers' or whatever. Just sayin'. May also attribute to why they haven't won a title since their last because their defense, while good, hasn't been great.

We got sidetracked for a moment and it had nothing to do with FF #'s.

    Thanks again Caption Obvious.

Also, you completely fail for backtracking and editing shit to add snippy little comments.

Again? Wtf are you talking about? The sad thing is you added this on after I said "When I said the intangibles can't be measured, I obviously wasn't talking about or including catches since I don't think they should be part of the scoring and they're tangible."
