Fantasy Football 2009: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em, Trade 'Em

Playoff bound in BGE after winning a meaningless game (already clinged like a week or two ago..), playoff bound in BGP as the 4 seed most likely (ugh, I hate my playoff matchup), playoff bound in IDP (already had that spot anyway), and then playoffs in 2QB. Won my playoff game in my ESPN league.. eliminted in 20-man, so still, not a bad week.

As it stands, I'm sitting in position to make the consolation bracket in most of my leagues. Still one spot out in 2QB, so I need to win next week too.

#3 seed in the only league that matters, baby. :D Fuck Frank Gore forever for giving me that kind of stress during exams.

I ended up getting that playoff spot. To be honest, after doing some reading about playoff seeding after Tyr posted I was pretty sure I was out. There seems to be odd things happening with one of the settings that places division winners as the top seeds. People have been reporting odd things happening with that like it carrying over to other division races. Maybe there is a separate setting that is confusing things.

My BGE team is still a disaster, but I have an outside shot at getting into the 2QB playoffs. It's not looking promising though because I need a win against the top team and Tyr would need to lose against a middle of the road team.

edit: Colm ended up with a tie in the last game (lol) so he ended up 4th and Akiyama moved up to 3rd.

Gah, I'm the #1 seed in my league and i'm terrified on this matchup. My team hasn't been the same since Ronnie Brown blew out his knee and Brady turned into a Mortal. These are the key guys i'm having trouble deciding on.

Marion Barber vs @NO or Willis McGahee vs Chi
Cincinnati D vs @SD or Indi D vs @Jac

Actually strike the D question. Somehow Denver's D was available and they are hosting Oakland. Probably the best pick possible with Grabowski having his knee's torn up, and most likely the #3 starting, or Russel.

I'd probably go with Barber and Indy D.

I'm rolling a 2-game losing streak going into the playoffs... still going in at 1st place. However due to injuries/RB commitees/poor play lately etc etc I'm not feeling as confident as I should be. Definite starts for me this week are:

QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: Steven Jackson
RB: Laurence Maroney
WR: Randy Moss
WR: Greg Jennings (though I'd be most open to benching him in favor of one of my other WRs possibly)
WR: Hines Ward
TE: Dallas Clark

Debating on the RB/WR Flex Spot. Options include Pierre Thomas, Quinton Ganther, Chris Jennings, Dwayne Bowe, Nate Burleson, Kevin Walter.

Currently have Thomas in there, but I'm not happy with the RB committee used by the Saints at all.

Blech; i guess it goes by points. I'd say kurp deserves it over me anyway ;o I couldn't win a damn game to finish the season. Still impressed I did some damage with my putrid team...So far, that's the only league I'm not making the playoffs in. I might miss the defunct-IDP league, which would mean i'll be in 10/12 playoffs. I'd say pretty gewd =O
