That is not true. I have asked questions before about internet terms that I did not know and people answered them in the same way. Shit I have seen other people ask questions and I never thought "hmm do they have ovaries or not?" before answering the question.

A stupid questions is answered appropriately, a genuine question because you don't hang out on the internet enough to understand a term that is only used on the internet is answered appropriately.

If someone isn't a jerk about it they will usually get a nice answer. If they are an asshole then they will be treated that way.
