Tips on ranger Endgame gear

Right now I'm doing a fairly good job by my standards of gearing an endgame ranger. As of now I'm an elvaan using marksmanship. Since I hear many constructive comments on gear here... I'd like to see how I can better myself.
I'm not gonna post some screenshots of WS damage on NMs, just looking for some clear suggestions here.

Main/Sub: Kriegsbiel/Francisca for /nin and Fire staff/axe grip for /sam and /war

Ranged: Obow/Hellfire (depending on my mood)
Ammo: Holy bolts(TP) Darksteel(WS), Silver bullets
Head: Optical Hat
Neck: Faith Torque
Ear1/2: Genin earring/That Agi +3 earring (x2 Agi earring if not on nin)
Body: ACP body with Ratk+10 and Snapshot +5
Hands:Whands for /nin and Seiryu's for anything else
Rings: Jalzahn's ring and behemoth ring
Back: Amemet Mantle +1
Waist: Scout's belt
Legs: Oily Trousers
Feet:War boots (Working towards Af2 feet so don't worry about that)

As for myself, I see myself replacing my Ohat for the SCNM quadav head or the moogle head augmented with ratk/racc and snapshot.

Also, I have capped marksmanship merits, and Capped Job merits (Rapid shot, 5/5 Snapshot, 1 Flashy Shot, and 4 Recycle.)

What do you use it for? For Dark Ixion and Odin you will need -Enm so pieces like Bucaneer's Belt, Scout's legs and Novia are better than the mimimal increases you get from more damage focused pieces in those slots.

I bolded the changes I use. Some are going to be obvious, just +1ing stuff, but I didn't know if you actually had the +1 or not. The only one thing bolded I'm not sure on are legs. I dont' have access to Oily Trousers so I haven't parsed to compare, but as far as Ranged Accuracy is concerned, it's never an issue if I'm shooting for TP.

Oops forgots Scout's legs as well. I use them for Barrage and ENM- if needed. Also this is assuming I guess one specific gear set. I use several different gear sets depending on what I'm doing, so if you haven't got different builds, I'd suggest that.

hope no one minds but i have some questions about my rng gear as well, only use it for odin/ixion nothing else. Main question is should i be using scouts or bucc, so far i use bucc when i have songs/rolls and scouts belt when otherwise, is this what i should be doing or no?

You need like 500-510 to cap acc off of Ixion too iirc.

what food are you using? i've found that pot-au-feu works well for ixion with similar gear to what you've listed (skadi legs instead of scout's braccae, scouts socks.. not sure what feet you're using, jalzahns ring instead of bellona's). i tp in scout's belt and ws in buccaneers belt. i did the same on odin without acc problems.

Odin is not as evasive as Ixion. Think with squid sushi (493 acc total in tp gears), I was around 90%ish with obow/darksteel @ 7.5-8.5 range. Pot will do wonderfully on Odin.

Doesn't look like OP has a 6 hit build on bow even with sam. Am I missing something? I think if so, that's an opportunity.

You get 6hit from just the 15stp on /sam on all bows and obow. And you need +2 sTP on hellfire for 5hit while /sam(17 when not). Need 10 on Obow/Selene's and 13 on vali's for 6hit that I think OP and other posters could look into achieving when not /sam.

I notice the OP is using Holy Bolts with no MND+, is this the norm? I have a MND set-up for mine but did i not need to bother?

MND adds to the added damage but generally h.bolts are the cheap alternative to TPing and WSing in Darksteel.

My server never stocks Black/Mythril Bolts so cant really comment on those.

His post (and others ) was referring to Ixion and Odin. I know that anything inside 10' is sure death with mr lighting unicorn. I think it might be bad for Odin too.

Anyhoo...Recently (post patch) I used from 515-520 racc on Ixion and was close but not capped. I've done him many times prior with lesser racc gear (around 503) and got solidly lower racc% still although with the bow and more at 20'. (But that was with Namas so it was a bit harder to calc properly.)

My estimate is you need around 520-525 to cap if one stands just around 15-18'. I did that on gun.

That was the gist of my other post. I think using pot-au-feu is going to display a poor racc performance unless one skips stp and str in lieu of racc gear.

I'd like to see the way it could be done however I remain a skeptic.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes I have gear swaps, for WS but I'm more interested in this TP set.
Though for WS I like to balance AGI and STR, and some ratk thrown in as well, basically I just swap in Osode for WS, its been

I have AF2 legs but I don't have much problems with enmity.

I have a MND setup with decent MND for holy bolts, but I just use them because I'm too cheap, I do realize that I can switch to darksteel for better numbers, but I'm content with just holy bolts.

For food I switch between Pot Au Feu and Coeurl subs, if the accuracy sucks too much I'll use squid sushi.

As for stuff I'm fighting, I have very good accuracy on Odin with pot au feu, But on Ixion it's really random sometimes, so occasionally I might stick with sushi. With ixion I do the usual, stay 13'-18' and just shoot away, and I don't pull that much hate on ixion, but when I do just one set of third eye shadows saves me, after that I slowly build back momentum with my shots. There isn't much room for improvement on ixion, I think I hit the sweet spot in that sense.

Some of the gear that has been suggested I'm willing to try, but I feel that having more STR than I have now (Around +30 on sam) would just make me miss more, on my end I feel that the impact of Agi on WS is wirth more than overloading on STR. Not gonna state the obvious, but that's my opinion on marksmanship.
