Wow... Hitler is a boss in Persona 2! I have to play that game. However the only Persona game I've ever played is P4 and I'm enjoying the story so far, it just seems to require so much grinding though. =/

I had to retry it more than any boss in this game. I even breezed through Lucifer(granted I used Shiva, Beelzebub, and Metatron all with pierce, victory cry, etc and rapedface with MC's Friekugal), fuck Metador, seriously.

That's cause it is easy, though granted without a limiter the last boss in SO2 is surprisingly strong and a really good fight. But if you went through the secret dungeon and beat all the bosses there (Gabriel Celeste, Ethereal Quen, Isillia Queen(?)) then Indalecio isn't hard at all. Even easier with the cheesy characters like Bowman and Chisato.

Only reason I thought he was hard was because I could never beat him (despite getting so close), turned out I had Practice on which lowers all your stats by like 30% but raises EXP gain. Once I turned that off I killed him easily... felt so stupid after that lol.

On Universe/4D mode though, SO has some very annoying bosses.

QFT. But difficulty settings aside, I always found Griffon 2 (on the boat) to be the most annoying boss in the entire series, with the enemies in DMC3 to be the most annoying (fucking Angels). But DMC1 had some of the best bosses ever, with Nightmare and Nelo Angelo.

Miguel is a jerk man, only other boss that I had a hard time with in Chrono Cross was Garai and I don't really even know why anymore. I was around 12-13 when I first played it and I wasn't used to RPGs, so he's forever imprinted.

Love that game, though.

Yeah, he reacts to the elements you use so you can actually set him up to continously do useless crap or keep healing you if you have a black plate or something.

Probably mentioned but: first boss on Lost Odyssey. I think it takes everyone by surprise.

Last boss on Killzone 2 was pretty difficult on some of the harder settings. He runs at you with a knife and can kill you in 2 hits, unless you knife him before he hits you. Many many rages at that.

Yup, he also has his own personal super army called the Longinus 13, each have a copy of the Lance of Longinus while he has the real one. These Lances have the ability to take your Persona abilities away for a lot of turns, it fucking SUXXXXXX. Especially if your particular Persona had lightning resistance because you are in for receiving a lot of stuns.

Oh god haha SMT III Nocturne was my first SMT game, that motherfucker murdered me. There is no denying that anyone that does come across him for the first time gets raped and shown a reality check that this game is going to be very difficult.

I didn't find that boss to be as hard as everyone makes out (or the 2nd boss). Mostly all it did was rape Jansen, but Kaim and Seth were fine for the entire fight even after I left Jansen for dead.

Also fuck all bosses in SNK games with huge doses of SNK Boss Syndrome. Was annoying as fuck because the symtoms were hyperactive A.I. that could read play input moves in advance, huge priority than normal for a boss, and even bigger damage output from specials. I'm sure any fighting game fan will remember KOF 94 Rugal, Fatal Fury Geese Howard, KOF 95 Omega Rugal, and KOF 96 Goenitz.

I've played hundreds of rpgs and out of all of them there is only one I've never beaten because of how unbelievably difficult this whoreface of a final boss is.

The boss from the DLC for Lost Odyssey was an absolute bitch. Way too much prep involved and if one single thing didnt go as planned, you were SOL. Fuck bosses in RPGs that have only one set strategy that involves starting the fight with 1hp for all your members.
