I can't do 9PM EST on a Friday, it would have to be after 10:30 EST. Tuesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday though I'm good for 9PM EST though. Any day is fine to 9PM PST.

Ok I've added you to the roster on Page 6 Abraxas, so far we have 10 teams. No one has spoken out against a Sunday draft, but 2 people have asked that we not do a Friday draft, so I'm now leaning towards a Sunday 9pm EST draft, tentatively the 27th.

Ok we now have 9 members signed up for BG Fantasy Hockey, I'm looking towards a weekend 9pm PST or 9pm EST draft, potentially next Friday. This is all tentative still however.

I wouldn't be able to attned a live draft at that time (my schedule is rather loopy) my team would just auto-draft, yeah?

Don't worry about it Oxy, I'm now considering a Sunday 9pm EST draft since 2 others wouldn't be able to make a Friday one. If you can't make that one, yeah, you'd auto-draft, but not neccesarily the biggest deal - you can set rankings ahead of time for the computer to draft for you by.

Ok guys, i just made the league and will begin PMing out the join instructions. You will need a free Yahoo account, it takes like 5 minutes to make.

League Rules:
2 C, 2 RW, 2 LW, 2 Forwards (Miscellaneous RW/C/LW), 4 D, 2 Goalie, 3 Injured Reserve spots, 4 Bench spots.

Head to head league.

Minimum 2 goalie games per week. (for those of you who are new to Fantasy hockey, this is a general requirement, as if your only goalie playing on Monday at the start of the week gets a shutout, you'd otherwise be able to bench the remainder of your goalies for the week and automatically win Save % and GAA with perfect numbers of 100% / 0.00 GAA.)

Commisioner veto rules, incase people aren't checking every single day. If someone opposes a trade they can voice things here, PM me, or voice it on the bulletin board for our league at the league's page and if there's support, I'll veto it. This, for new people, is to prevent people who are not going to make the playoffs or who just want to alliance together from making really uneven trades to load up a team.

Draft is set for Sunday, September 27th, at 9:30 PM EST (Wouldn't offer me a 9PM draft, maybe cause that time slots already full on their servers?).

The mock drafts I've done generally take ~45 minutes. Ours should not be much longer than that somewhere between 60-90 minutes. You can also, too, if you have to leave during it, put it on autodraft for your remaining picks, which carry a little less weight anyways.

Also, if anyone cares, shootouts meaning nothing in this league. They do not affect Save % or GAA of goalies, nor will they count for a goal if your skater scores during one.

We're drafting 18 rounds, and at 10 teams, with a 90 second selection timer, in theory, it can take a MAXIMUM of 4.5 hours, but most picks take less than 30 seconds and if even 1 person doesn't make it, you can subtract almost their entire time (18 x 90 = 27 minutes from the max time) because the computer only takes 2-3 seconds to autopick for them. So plan for 2 hours.
