I think the stupidest rule is "intent to blow". You cant document that at all, theres no proof of anything, "intent to blow". Soooo stupid.

BadKarma, I just wanted to make something clear. I don't think Gilroy has been our best defenseman this season, not even close, but I don't think that he did anything to warrant being sent down to HFD.

If it's to "send a message", or to try to preach accountability, Roszival should have been the first man to be demoted.

My hope is Gilroy tears it up in the AHL, and is back in a few weeks or so.

Oh yeah, Roszival used to drive me insane. He would play awesome for three games and then suck donkey balls for the next six. Far too inconsistent to build the rest of your defense around. Now you're seeing it more often and hating it. And sadly Gilroy pays the price for Roszival's suckness.

I believe "shitting the bed" refers to messing up a situation, or making a mistake. That would suggest the Rangers have been doing anything correctly for a while.

The Roszival thing has been going on here for years...his refusing to shoot on the PP, boneheaded plays everywhere...it's just bad. But again, he's gone after this season.

Gilroy has been struggling...which is expected cause he's a rookie. My hope is this brief stint in the AHL wakes him up.

Rosival, I have no fucking clue what happened. The first 2 post lockout years with the Rangers he was a +45, with 15G and 55A.


The last 3 years have been:
22G, 63A and a -8 Rating.

Reading a Wings message board and it got me thinking...

Last year the Wings might have had one of the best 2nd lines in the NHL with Hossa/Datsyuk/Holmstrom or Franzen/Zetterberg/Cleary (whichever you considered the 2nd, it was sort of interchangable). Right now they probably have one of the worst in hockey, Leino/Abdelkader/Bertuzzi. 2 rookies and a guy who has shown that he is now a terrible skater who can't score for shit. 82 shots, and 4 goals. One of the recent Wings games had a stat that showed him with something like 217 shots AT goal too. 7 years turns an almost-100 point getter into complete shit. Goddamn I hate Bertuzzi (unless he ends up scoring a ton after this post, then I only moderately dislike him).
