Talbot has always had a knack for being clutch in the playoffs. He never has a great regular season but somehow the guy is always around the net in the playoffs. Without him there might not be a new banner in Mellon arena. He's a reliable third liner who does just about anything that's needed. He scores timely goals. Fights, hits, kills penalties, takes important faceoffs. While he's certainly no candidate for the Art Ross trophy he's definitely a huge part of the Penguins.

Not saying the guy doesn't contribute, just that he's not one of the 5 best draft picks of the decade. I can appreciate garbage goals, since they are both the reason we won vs the Ducks and we lost vs the Pens last year.

And then Shane Doan lays a hit on Jonathan Ericsson, with some incidental knee contact (it was a clean hit, but after their bodies hit Doan's knee connected with Ericsson's) and Ericsson goes down immediately. Phoenix scores in the following seconds on the proceeding "injury PP." Ericsson goes into the locker room on one leg, replay shows his leg bending backwards on the hit. Would not be surprised if he is out for the season.

Because faggots like you still believe in archaic, backwards, old school thinking (or should I say, mugging). I've never been a fan of the likes of Brashears and Laraques. They can't play and don't deserve even the league's minimum contract. Only reason I've been enduring Godard is cause we've had a decimated lineup / he plays amazing down low cycling / hes shown he can be a good body in front of the net on the PP in an emergency.

Kimmo Timmonen... 2 G, 1 A, (one of them was a SHP)... on BOTH my opponents' fantasy teams this week, and my university league I'm also facing Nathan Horton who just picked up 3 G and 1 A (another SHP). FML.

Also, 3 most underrated people in the NHL this year: Ryan Malone, Steve Stamkos, Ryan Kesler. All 3 are playing like beasts (well Malone/Stamkos both just had recent minor injuries) so far this season and are massively under the radar of league recognition.
