Aw I missed the fun! I gotta say this year is beautiful, every time Detroit gets another injury and loses to another low-tier team I just want to throw it all on the bed and roll around in it like Indecent Proposal.

I also can't find video from the first Wings-Hawks game this year where Holmstrom was up to his usual faggot shit and Huet decked him in the back of the head when the ref turned away, favorite moment of the season so far bar maybe the 5-0 comeback vs. Calgary.

While I don't expect it, the Wings beating the Hawks with a >$33 mil roster vs the Hawks $60+ mil roster will be fun. I'm honestly surprised the Wings are still in playoff contention given that the team could now be called either the Griffins or the Wings fairly easily.

Also Crosby isn't the best all around player, nor the best offensive player, etc. While he is one of the best and I believe showing himself to be the best offensive player who also plays defense, Ovechkin has more pure scoring and Zetterberg and Datsyuk are both more all-around players.

Zetterberg will miss at least 2 weeks with a partially separated shoulder. At least if they can get through the injuries into the playoffs they should be much better. The ironic thing is that neither the 40 year old guy nor the guy who gets the shit kicked out of him in front of goal every night are the ones being injured.

This is an honest question, not a sarcastic one: is Ovechkin ever put on the PK? If the answer is no, then he's not a more complete player than Crosby.

Thats because Boudreau is a genius. Why on earth would you have your star player blocking 90MPH shots? Theres a reason star players arent generally used on the penalty kill, do you want Crozby stepping infront of a Chara slap shot? I wouldnt. If theyre on the ice, its to gamble for a short handed goal.

Shes sick w/pinkeye that got worse again overnight and there's a massive snowstorm outside making travel impossible, both for us this afternoon + her friends to her place this evening.
