He tried killing Clutterbuck.
He tried killing Clutterbuck.
Yeah I didn't know they'd do it by me either, it's just a little man-made retention pond that the park district made, it's right down the street which is nice...though pond ice is much harder than rink ice it turns out, did a number on my blades which I didn't realize until I got on the ice Sunday and flew halfway across the rink making a routine turn.
Rangers-Devils tonight. Hopefully the Rangers continue rolling and beating the shit out of Marty. No matter how good the devils are the blueshirts always have their number.
Now that you've said that it's gonna be 4-0 NJ tonight and Gaborik's groin will explode.
This ref fiasco is creating some great twitter discussions between journalists.
http://twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie and http://twitter.com/BotchonCanucks are having a great discussion about the unspoken rules of the game.
Gonchar for some reason decided that he would attempt to check someone. With his elbow. .I was flipping back n forth from the pens-wild game...why do the wild fans hate gonchar? I kept hearing epic boos when he had the puck.
Malkin is pressing right now. He's trying to do too much because he's been slumping as bad as he is. Not to take anything away from Pascal Dupuis, but he does not belong in the top six. Period. I don't think Tangradi is quite ready yet. His offensive skills are improving and he's showing that he is going to be a goal scoring threat. He plays with an edge like Malone. The problem is he's still young. So I don't expect to see him up here permanently for at least another year. You know, as I watched Malkin turn the puck over for the fourteenth time in last night's game, I thought to myself, "Wow, Staal is playing better than Malkin."
The chemistry between our third line is something that can't be rivaled I think. I kind of wish Caputi could remain in the NHL, at least right now, we'll see how well he does over this extended period of time with Kunitz out. Malkin really needs someone like Malone on his wing, though. When is Tangradi supposed to be ready? I just hope if Malkin and Caputi end up having amazing chemistry, Bylsma doesn't move Caputi onto Crosby's wing next year when we don't resign Guerin because he's as old as dirt, even if he's playing like no one else on our team right now.
If Guerin is able to continue his pace, the Pens will happily re-sign him to another one year deal should he decide to stay. He could top thirty goals this season(the first time in a very long time.)
Now onto Mr. Staal. Staal has finally filled out. His mindset actually matches his body now. He's not afraid to jump in front of the crease. He's living there now. He's taking the beating and he's getting the garbage goals. Here's the problem with Staal and the third line. They play fantastic together. So while the Pens might be better served putting someone like Kennedy or Staal with Malkin, they can't do it. Because the third line meshes so well they can't justify breaking them up.
Shut it Blueshirt!!
Burrows saying "we lost the game cause of the officiating" is lame-o. you lost cuz you couldnt kill the penalty.
kill it, then bitch out auger afterwards.
im on his side though, as far as the ref making it personal. auger is a douche
I agree that you can't blame a loss on it as there were still 2-3 other goals not affected by it, at the same time a 4-3 PK is pretty damn detrimental.
Agreed. You don't lose because of the penalty. You lose because of the penalty kill. Burrows should have waited until they were at the hotel and gave him a two o clock no knock with a sock full of miniature hotel soap bars.
Now I might be whooshing myself but are you guys seriously talking about tv networks now involved in the Crosby conspiracy?
Don't even try to save face by claiming you were trolling homie, you know your statement was genuinely retarded.
Noticed BK said something too. May just take a page from Oxy and claim trollan success, but really, we all know Rangers fans lead the league in the Crosby cryfest.
And your save face tastes like ass. Good to see you and BK back in this thread now that the Rangers are starting to play like they belong in the NHL, though!
By the way, http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pitt...rce=rss&feed=8

holy intense devils/rangers game
I don't really think it'll have any effect on local television, anyway. But I definitely think it'll be something that the NHL as a whole looks into as far as their reviewing process. I 100% believe that a call like that shouldn't be made until the people in Toronto have every camera angle available to them. The camera that the shot that showed the puck over the line was between the benches it looked like, and I'm not trying to fault the NHL or the people in Toronto, but I think it's ridiculous that they only base their decisions on what the people at home are seeing. If that's the case, why not just leave it up the refs to look up at the jumbotron, because they certainly can show the overhead camera on that as well. I guess without something like this happening before, there was really no reason to doubt their process, but I think it's something they'll definitely reconsider in the future.
