I'm fine with Palin joining.

It's true the only person he can really hurt is himself. I like the idea of keepng this league in-house. My only concern is, if Palin quits, what happens if he drops all his good players, or makes trades similar to the fashion of what was thought of in option 2.

I've also got a few folks who would join though, if we need to fill said last spot.

Ohh another Stars fan! :D Elite. They not doin too great pre-season but i guess the young un's need a shot! Benn looked great the other night tho.

Stars fans! I went to the game in Ft Laud today against the Panthers to watch us play like crap. And guess what, Joe f'in Nieuwendyk comes up to my section at the beginning of period 3 and sits down in the front row. I couldn't believe my eyes. I went up and talked to him after the game to get his perspective on the preseason but he only gave me really media-friendly replies like "we need some work" or "we have a nice young team." Was hoping for something more out him but he didn't seem too happy. Don't blame him. Still pretty freaking cool.

Benn looks great. Our Defense and new system... scares me.

Should be np Seppuku. Looking forward to it (though going to be very very green).

Yeah i'm a bit dubious this season...not that I wasn't last season too lol ; ; Just wish I could watch the matches! I only ever get to see teh scores afterwards and its tres rubbish ¬_¬ Reduced to watching the Canucks, my best friends team, for entertainment ; ; They're doing well. The fuckers ¬_¬

God it's almost time kids. I'm lucky though since I didn't have to go without hockey as much as you guys did. Two years in a row of short offseasons for the Pens. That's an awesome thing for me. I like football but I really only watch it because hockey season is over. When hockey starts, my attention in firmly planted on center ice.

Hard to tell, at this point in the preseason the teams should be getting close to dressing their full roster, so it's possible. I know that we've been dressing most of our roster the past couple of games, though I don't think Steve Mason has played much yet, mostly been Garon and our 2 AHL goalies.

lol I think he's at least a serviceable backup so that Mason doesn't have to be Ironman again this year. If I recall, he did quite well for your team when Fleury was hurt.

I think he played a total of 4 games for us last year. And he did a very good impression of a living sieve. When we started John Curry over him, that should say something.

So, to hold me down before the beginning of the season, I've been playing a LOT of NHL10. Got into GM Mode yesterday and holy god is it fun.

I traded Mark Eaton away though, sorry Sepukku! Think I got Chad LaRose for him though, so it was worth it. I beat you, Mark Eaton, I beat you.

I just wish our preseason games were televised, FUCK.

I was playing NHL10.... til PSN System Update 3.01 jacked up my PS3 and made it completely inoperable.

Stars pull out a win against the Avs.. but a lot of dumb Penalties and grossly outshot by some AHLers. Neal-Richards-Erikkson look great, Auld was solid. Really eager to see our full NHL team in action. 3-3 now in the postseason, hopefully we can pull another win or two and stay above .500.
