People still play FFXI?
People still play FFXI?
wut?
And where have you been young man?
i thought it was
but apparently I'm one level below the package that gets it. when we moved into our house, we got the digital starter package, but the NHLnetwork only comes with the digital preferred or higher. or if you buy any of the sports package bundles, then you will get the channel. but you dont get JUSt the NHL network, which pisses me off.
i just called about this last week
LOL @ Brill infiltrating the NFL thread and turning it into a hockey discussion.
take that Tyche-fag
I like how not only was hockey thrown into the NFL thread, but we also got women's tennis and vollyball in there too...lol. Comparison of Tony Romo to Alex Ovechkin was classic by the way....cept Romo doesn't look like a mongoloid, as stated.
Hockey players are going to win out in several categories, toughness, character, generosity...looks, looks are not one of those categories by any stretch of the imagination.
Edit: Except Hartnell, his hair is drreeaaammmyyy
I took a hard shot in the back of the knee yesterday, like the only spot I don't have covered by pads, this bruise is monster lol. Going to be relaxing tonight and hopefully watching Hawks/Flames...which network does 'TSN' stand for?
I think we should start doing "NHL Week X" threads to break down every single week of the season. Seeing the retarded NFL titles each week in General makes me want to stab myself in the brain.
TSN is Canada's version of ESPN. Are you not in Chicago currently and can't catch the game on Comcast?
Will it be on Comcast? Usually ESPN schedule lists that as 'Away TV' for the away games, just they had nothing in that column...speaking of, apparently Tuesday was on CSN, but Comcast fucked up their digital cable guide, the reason I thought the game wasn't being televised was that when I used the guide to see what was on CSN it showed a bunch of random shit instead of 'NHL Hockey', I went to Menu > Search > Sports and it didn't show up there either. :/
Pittsburgh vs Washington tonight - the rematch. Crosby is ahead of AO in goals and is 2nd in the Rocket Richard race. AO learns how to pass, has a couple more assists than Crosby. Crosby has 1 more accessory than AO though.
Chicago should crush the Flames tonight btw.
San Jose schooled them the other night, and I'm sure Kane/Toews will do the same.
..... it's not like Phaneuf is gonna hit either of them anyway.
Montreal is cutting ties with Georges Laraque as well. He won't play for the rest of the season, and the Habs are buying out his contract at the end of the year. Which is a shame, he was on pace for 2 goals, 7 fights and 35 hits. LOL
I'm pretty sure he lost his "intimidator" status when he left Edmonton.
Yeah it will be on Comcast, unless the Bulls are playing with an earlier start, in which case it'd be on WGN after Supernatural...but I think most of the WGN games are weekend only, so should be CSN tonight.
idk, the Hawks have majorly had the Flames' number going back to the playoffs, but I think that may change tonight. I still think they'll win but I don't think it's going to be a ridiculous dropping 5-7 goals on them night like the 5-0 comeback win and the game after.
Calgary is still butt hurt that we owned them last season both in the regular season and the playoffs, so they're gonna come at us with everything they have and make this a physical game. Not to mention how they were embarassed the other night against the Sharks, they're gonna want to prove themselves, so I expect a tough game tonight. 4-2 Hawks, on an empty net goal at the end to secure the win.
also if anyone didn't see the replays of the save of the fucking year from Tuesday:

I hate calling plays like that great cause the only reason hes in that position is cause he fucked up behind the net handling the puck. With defensive systems and goaltending strategies what they are today, a goalie shouldn't be have to be diving around doing anything crazy anymore. The only times it should happen is if the teams defense breaks down and gives up a 2 on 1 or something, or the goalie fucks up.
I don't disagree that it was a shitty play/turnover to start, but people fuck up sometimes and that was still a great recover that stopped a sure goal.
