Well I was off on the score of the Hawks-Flames game but at least I got the empty net goal part right. Hawks have played so well in most of their wins that tonight was the first empty net goal of the year, and we're the last team to get one this season lol.

Puck Daddy thing last night was awesome, quite a few Pens fans there and we had like three big rooms packed. I forgot how fucking huge that bar is. Decided to rock the old school blue Bondra jersey, these bandwagon fans need to learn their history.

As for the game, I couldn't be happier with the way we played. All four lines were buzzing, and special teams were awesome. Aside from Theo's own goal, it was everything I could have asked for. Inb4backupgoalie, game seven, etc etc. Whatever. See you in two weeks.

No one here was making any excuses. Me and Ivaden aren't hiding, Brill will surely give his .02 when he drags his ass to work. We know we played 2 full periods of good, playoff quality hockey against you - just for whatever reason we came out in the 3rd napping. Rather than cite anything such as backup goalie or having our forwards decimated, I will say that you guys won the season series last year, but look what that got you.

I was, but at least I didn't go hide in a corner and disappear for a week. I'm here acknowledging we lost. We supposed to go 82-0-0? Even his Airness and the Chicago Bulls couldn't go undefeated.

And I made no mention of a specific game - it was just refering you once the season series last year, and we won the playoff series - which takes more than a game 7. We won Game 3, 4, 5, and 7 I believe it was.

Pens got outworked and outplayed. Period. Even the first two periods they weren't exactly playing their best hockey. By the time the third period rolled around the Pens looked like shit. The Caps managed to keep playing at the same level throughout the whole game. While I'm not a particularly big fan of Johnson, he played well enough to keep the Pens in it. Most of the goals he let up were results of horrible defensive lapses. I would have loved to go to the Puck Daddy gig. But there's no way in hell I'm driving down there during the week lol. If it was on a weekend then I would consider it. And I'd be crashing at your place Bregor. I would deface your Bondra jersey before I left while you were still sleeping.

Also new Alk3 album leaked and I can't help but contain my excitement. I'm hoping Hot Topic or Best Buy or something does a partnership with them like their last album and they have a handful of bonus tracks cause I love all 11 tracks but it leaves me dying for more. I bought Agony & Irony at Hot Topic back in 2008, came with a Band T, the regular album, plus a 2nd bonus disc that included 6 tracks, and the CDs were packaged in a special set that included the sheet music and original notes and stuff on the songs in the lyrics book. All for $20 Something like that again would be sweet.
