That penalty is bullshit in general. I agree that there ought to be a penalty but refs need to take into consideration like they do with icing calls, but Kimmo was trying to move the puck up the ice, not to get it out of their defensive zone and for a breather.

Thats not what the rules say though. Its an automatic non-judgement penalty, and I wish there was more of them - just like this, and the 2-or-4 rule on high sticking penalties. It just makes everything fairer. If Sergei Gonchar did that trying to get it out of the Pens end, you wouldn't be saying that. You're just frustrated that your town sucks, your team sucks, and your life sucks.

the delay of game call i dont mind, as far as non-judgmental penalties go, but the one i hate is the slashing call if the stick gets knocked out of your hands. if the slash breaks it, then thats a penalty. but if you dropped your stick cuz one hand is on it, then that shouldnt be one. the first thing they teach you in hockey is to have both hands on your stick. if it gets knocked out because you werent holding, thats your fault

Another win for the canucks, some sketchy reffing that went in our favor. Kinda surprised of that after the Auger fiasco but I'll take the free points. After this Wednesday's game against St Louis the Canucks don't play in GM place again until March lol.

The game was on faggle Versus last night (not to mention I had night class followed by a work meeting) so I have no comment on the game. I heard 5 minutes of it on the radio between class and the meeting, and then the final 5 minutes on the way up to my place after the meeting, the only thing of note I heard was V. Prospal nailed someone, I believe Letang, pretty cheaply during the final couple minutes and it went uncalled.

Yea, the reffing was pretty bad, but I don't think that it was the overall reason the Sabres lost. Luongo stole that from us. He stopped so many redirects of shots from the point. I was amazed.

I have no idea what I'm doing yet, my girl and I are both broke and our anniversary is a couple weeks later, so we may just fuck a few times and nothing else. I have a ENP Gift Card I could take us out to eat with, but I wanna save that for our anniv. since our first date included eating there. The Super Bowl is on V-Day too, I think. Not terribly excited for it, but that needs factored in somehow.
