Oh god my Mass Effect 2 copy came today, wasn't supposed to be until next Monday or so. There's a game on tonight. WHAT DO I DO

I watched the first two periods while I ran a few dungeons with guildies in WoW. At the start of the third I started playing ME2. The call was too great to resist. That is how much I love Bioware and Mass Effect. Enough for me to turn off a Penguins hockey game. I can't wait. I'm going to play that shit all night tonight! I'm not sleeping at all!! Who am I kidding. It will be midnight and I'll be half asleep.

I wasn't too pleased with the Penguins somewhat of a no-show last night, but I felt slightly less upset when I saw the Flyers blew a 3rd period 3-1 lead on home ice and didn't even earn 1 point.

oh let me dissect every game as if everyone who reads this thread really gives two shits about my reviews. when my team wins i get to cap lock how good they are, but when they lose i stick my tail between my legs and not post for a couple days.

I disagree. I'm stuck at work for 3 hours and I need some sort of entertainment regardless. But congrats on admitting that YOU like to hide when your team blows (which is pretty frequent seeing as, as stated, there are at least 4-5 homosexuals on the Flyers) because you claim we are similar, yet you are claiming common grounds with your incorrect perception of me, that I would hide when my team loses.

I, however, know its alright to lose a game. Going into the season I didn't expect 82-0-0. We are currently in 4th place in the Eastern Conference - the same spot we were in last year when we won the cup. So I'm alright with this. You may be in 7th, but you are only 1 point out of 13th. You really, REALLY could've used those 2 points last night.

which now that i think about it, how do you actually review the games if you cant even watch them? have we been gettin trolled that bad? hahahahahha

simply looking at the box score you deduce what transpired during the game?

I don't know where you're getting this idea that I miss every single game. FSN carries over 70 of the Pens 82 games, NBC carries 4ish of them, and Versus the other half dozen. I got to see the Wild-Pens Versus game since I wasn't at my university, but I have missed/will miss the others. So I miss 5-7 games, so what? ~75/82 is still an A, still over 90%. Lastly, the few I DO miss, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to look at a score sheet and know that 0-2 goals are not a good amount of offense that indicates a high winning %. The average team GPG in the league is over 2, so you should expect 3 goals minimum if you're going to win. If you only score 2 - well, you better limit the other team to 0-1, which is pretty hard to do consistently in the current NHL.

I don't expect to win every game. I hope to win every game. I go into every game knowing we have a chance to win and I hope we do the leg work (and get the bounces, from time to time) neccesary to win it. Unfortunately for the Penguins, we have this horrible, awful situation of being the defending Stanley Cup Champs, so we take some nights off. You wouldn't know anything about that though

Fatass. Too many Cheese Steak Subs or w/e you call em. 250? really? You can't lose 25-50? I'm 5'10" 160 cause you know... I work out (lightly, I'll admit, I'm not a Team Tapout douchebag bro hitting a gym 7 days a week), play hockey, take a couple vitamins, and I eat healthy (except Pepsi, yummmmmmmmmmmmm, couple of those every day, but thats it).

Safe sex sucks. Condoms are fucking terrible compared to all-natural. We've been together for 2 years, we're clean, so shes on the pill and we can do without barrier based protection.

Sepukku's 5 tips for living healthier (with no excessive effort):
1. Never ever take an escalator/elevator (exception if you're carrying a TV, fridge, etc).
2. Do a set or two of pushups every day. However many you feel comfortable doing. 25, 30, 40, 50. Do at least one at bed, or one in the morning. One at both times is even better.
3. Drink milk a lot, but never whole milk. Don't add chocolate either. Even Nesquick's claim of having less sugar than other chocolate mixes still doubles the carbs in your drink. I would know, I'm Type 1 diabetic (no pancreas) so I have to watch this sort of thing. Also, if you're drinking Milk, you're not drinking anything unhealthy, which includes sodas (sugary), coffee (is there any nutritional value in this?), and even orange juice (which often has more carbs per fluid ounce than even soda. Pepsi has 41g of Sugar in a 12 oz. can. Again, Type 1D., I know. Orange Juice often is around 30g for an 8 oz glass, or 45g for 12 fl oz. Vitamin C is good, but its one of the easiest vitamins/nutrients to get. Get it elsewhere, is my train of thought.)
4. Park far away, walk a lot. Malling is actually good exercise, walking around for 2+ hours. Also parking at the end of the aisle furthest from wherever you're going gives you a brisk walk.
5. Sex is good exercise. One can burn a lot of calories/carbs off. Even if you aren't having sex (*coughAbraxas*), recieving head or masturbating can still get the blood flowing, metabolism up, and heart pumping.

Kind of a French health lifestyle. Emphasis on staying healthy by seeing work and exertion as a latent, small, but constant part of their daily life rather than avoiding it throughout the day and then trying to cram it into 30 minutes of misery on a treadmill.

Edit: Oh, and lardass, if you're going to go to town at a chain buffet, have a salad with a water and some bread to start. It'll cut your appetite / stomach room very significantly...
