THEY DIDN'T EVEN FUCKING TRY ON THE FIVE ON THREE AFTER THE INTERMISSION. Fucking bury them. If you listen to the interviews from the players regarding game 7 last year, you listen to them say things about never letting up and crushing their throat when you have your foot down. This year they've tried turtle-ing with the Caps twice, it doesn't fucking work you pieces of shit, play the way you know wins games. John Torterella would have my back. Fucking Kennedy was the only one trying to maintain posession in the offensive zone for more than 5 seconds and generating scoring chances in the third period.

Only good things:
(A) +1 point, even if we shit the 2nd point out.
(B) Kunitz looks to be a huge energy spark and while not Ray Whitney or Marian Hossa caliber, hes certainly much better than Dupius or miscellaneous farm team people on Crosby's line.

I'm just glad I slept through the game up until 5 minutes left in the third. Marathoning Mass Effect 2 into the early hours of the morning proved to infinitely be the better use of my time. It's a good thing the Eastern Conference sucks ass or I'd be very worried about not being in the playoffs at the end of the season.

72 points in 59 games would have you fighting for the 7th seed in the West, lol. I wouldn't bet against Devs/Caps/Pens the majority of the time, but most of the East is pretty damn mediocre.

Pens looked like shit in the third period. They got outworked and outplayed. The whole time I was watching the third period I was waiting for the Washington comeback. And sure enough there it was. With how poorly they played the last period and OT the Pens are lucky they got a point at all.
