I honestly have to say I feel bad for Huet on the play. Players get handcuffed all the time, but only goalies have to do it out on the middle of an island. Remember this one?

Huet angers me so much at times, that goal being one of them, however a goalie in my mens league almost gave up a worse goal in our previous game. Guy on my team went for a dump in shot, from our defensive end, right around the top of the circle and ended up hitting the crossbar.

Like I highlighted above, it wasn't to the head. He needs to learn to skate with his head up cause shit like this WILL happen. It's unfortunate, but hopefully he learns from it.

You'll need to plan some time for this thread specifically then, because regardless of whether I was wrong about that call and it being a hit to the head (which once I did see replays and not as it happened, I agreed it wasn't a hit to the head), doesn't mean Philly isn't classless.

I always liked the Eagles more than the Steelers though, but moreso due to following Kearse more than anything. Fuck football now though, boring compared to hockey.

Yeah not so much bad on him personally since freak bounces happen, Huet is just unlucky as fuck. He has a pretty inordinate ratio of goals against that aren't actual shots on net, like errant passes hitting skates of guys just moving by who don't even see the puck as it magically rockets at a straight angle to the far corner of the net. That or redirects off our own defenders trying to block shots, I've seen at least 5-6 go in like that this season so far.

Good game for Blues/Wings tonight. Great to see Franzen back, and both Mason and Howard have looked real sharp at times. Staying at my parents' house during this Goddamned blizzard, it's fun to subject them to non-Caps hockey. But even they hate shootouts.
