I hate watching Habs v. Caps games as I root for both teams (Montreal always first though). It was an entertaining game to watch, but both teams were rather crappy. Hal Gill actually played well with blocking shots and poke checking a lot, but he's way too slow to go after those rebounds.

Anyway, I'm glad the streak is over. I've grown way too tired of Mike Wise on WJFK talking like he knows anything about hockey. At least Bill Rohland and Chris Russell actually have great comments whenever the subject comes up.

Correction, this is what Mike Babcock thinks about everything, unless he is making fun of someone.

    Which looks like this:

This is the only picture in the world with him without some sort of scowl. He has a scowl in every picture, even ones taken during the parade after the winning the cup.

Caps getting trounced. This could get ugly, already 2-0.

What is that song they play in the arena when the Sens score? It's the same thing they were playing last night when the Habs scored. It sounds so familiar.

    Johan Franzen is fucking awesome.

Too bad our defense is a fan of shitting the bed and allowing easy goals. Also Nabokov with some insane saves. 19 shots through the first... god they need a win.

I just turned the game on. Is it a song from a band? Montreal likes to do the "Ole, ole, ole, ole" soccer song, but I'm not sure if they do that when they score. Montreal does the Ole song more as a motivator.

And 5 seconds after I post that, Semin puts a crazy wrister in the net. Hoping the Caps bounce back after last night.

Edit: And 30 seconds later Semin puts another in!

Yeah this is gnarly. Sounds like they didn't play it on the goal to make it 4-4. Here's hoping we don't hear it again, haha.

Definitely a song by some rock band. Googling says it's U2's Vertigo, but that doesn't sound right. Have to be some Habs fans here who know. It's driving me crazy.

Four goals by Ottawa, first two were legit great plays, third was a softie by Varly, fourth was a total breakdown. Bourque doesn't get out on the right point, they swing it and get a shot way too easily, scrum, goal. And Semin continues to frustrate me, he's either invisible, a turnover machine or in the box most of the time. Then he does this. Only thing I know is the third should be very interesting.

And I switched to NHL-N during a break, saw Franzen's wrister, was a thing of beauty. Hell of an effort by Naby to even get a piece of it.

Another fucking softie by Varlamov. He better get his head on straight before the playoffs.

Volchenkov has about 200 blocked shots in this game. I've heard his name in trade rumors, would love to add a D-man like him.

And that's a teeny bopper band, isn't it? Maybe I know it from my nieces or something. Or perhaps one of my pedo sites.

Wings lose in a shootout WHAT A TWIST.

4-8 now in SOs this year, having lost 3 straight.

At least they played a great game, Nabokov stood on his head a few times to make some saves.

Habs put vertigo when they score. The ole ole ole is mostly a motivation when habs leads alot, when it'S close, or when they about to beat a strong team.

And like some place they like to yeal the best player on the other team name to bug em, or like chara or kovalev they just BOOOOO when they take the puck lol
