The worst part is that even when NBC does cover games we get to deal with Pierre McGay, Eddie Olczyk is the main saving grace of those games, the second being that NBC playoff coverage is just barely less terrible than Versus.

Man Carolina is getting run through the chop-shop, gogo rebuilding mode. The Sens are going to be interesting to keep an eye on, wonder if the Olympics break will kill their momentum. Between them/Avs/Coyotes I think there'll be some interesting playoff dark horses at the least.

Things were bound to go downhill once he wasn't on San Jose, since the only really great thing about Cheechoo was having him on the same team as Setoguchi, that team was a Chipchurra away from having all of the funnest-to-say NHL last names on the same team.

Actually when talking with my high school friends at our fantasy hockey draft, they struggled the most at Dustin Byfuglien. We got a lot of BIFF-UGH-LEE-IN. Thank you, NHL'10, for teaching me how to say it.

One of my Facebook friends said Cam Barker got traded, I looked on the Hawks Twitter feed and saw nothing. Nothing on Blackhawks website, last resort I went to NHL.com and saw only this:

According to published reports, the Chicago Blackhawks have traded defenseman Cam Barker to the Minnesota Wild for veteran defenseman Kim Johnsson and prospect Nick Leddy.

But yet it doesn't say it's confirmed, and I dunno why no one but nhl.com would have this....can anyone else confirm?

Wow it's true, I really like Barker, but I can't really complain. He never exactly lived up to being someone who was picked third behind Ovi and Malkin.

Wonder how much cap room that move is going to make...
