Brodeurs fundamentals tonight look like a joke. If Canada did have the massive skill advantage and the shots/chances were even, it'd be 10-2. He just jumped with his face at Pavelski's slapper.

Pretty sure Brodeur just fell on his ass, hes been doing everything BUT normal hockey saves today. After the on-his-ass save he dove for a pokecheck practically out at the faceoff circle.

Also, what a quick whistle after Ryan's breakaway (after the two breakaways before that)

Also, Page 17 of the Olympic thread is a joke. Everyone is discussing hockey but none of them are regulars from our hockey thread and they know absolutely nothing.

2 things:

1. The Canadian Team is just one big turnover, they seem to just be trying to "out talent" USA and it's not working, SO FAR. This game is far from over after 2 but I did like what I saw from the US after that 2nd Canadian goal.

2. FUCK NBC and the NHL for allowing NBC to not put this game on the Network feed, this is a classic game, albeit sloppy. But it's definitely more exciting than Figure Skating lol.

I used to play hockey. I just never like watching pro sports outside of the Olympics and occasional games. Sorry not in yo club.

One thing is for sure, the refs are staying out of the way, they're letting darn near everything go right now. They were forced to call that one on Perry at the end of the 2nd, he raped Rafalski lol.

I like how we held Canada to 0 shots for 8 minutes after their 2nd goal, being a Bluejackets fan, it's nice to see a team that doesn't fold after a goal.
