I hadn't read any reports that he's out for the season yet. Just that he tweaked his groin.. They're saying he may play tonight for the Bronze.

Even still the Rangers should sell. This "one playoff round and out" shit isn't cutting it. They need to build for their future for once.

You may not like Luongo but that last chance Demitra had did not actually hit the crossbar, it hit Luongo. It was pretty amazing not that I see it. The first goal was bad yes but come on, he's made some real nice saves.

But I agree that Chris Pronger is a fucking joke. Mike Greene would have been a way better choice and will definitely be part of the team next time. Asides from Pronger, the rest of the D has been ok. They panicked at the end of the Slovak game but thankfully they managed to win.

Keith/Seabrook have been good as expected, hoping to see them slip up a bit on sunday

Doughty has been really good, along with Weber, Keith, Seabrook and Doyle. Every bit as advertised. I think that was the big advantage over the Russians, no matter how badly Nabokov played, the Canadians were weaving and passing right through their D while Canada held their ground. "Old Man Elbow" Chris Pronger and "Mike Green Lite" Scott Niedermayer, however...

It's not that I dislike Luongo I'm saying he's not as good as other goalies. That stop on Demitra was about as lucky a save a goalie can make, just stuck his arm up and Demitra put it right into his glove... more of a missed goal than a good save.
Luongo has only looked good when the team in front of him is dominating the play. He's easily let in 2-4 terrible goals. If he let's in 1 or 2 bad goals against the US we won't have much of a shot.
Either way the game should be close and I'm 100% sure they won't get as badly outplayed as the 1st game so it should be pretty epic

is that really skill? Its luck, but shit like that turns peoples heads, and it looks amazing. But 99 times out of 100 he's not going to pull that off.
