Yo Khabibulin, I'mma let you finish, but Steve Smith had one of the biggest Oilers vs Flames screw ups of all time. OF ALL TIME.
YouTube - Game 7, Calgary Flames at Edmonton Oilers (04/30/86)
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Flames/Oilers game was a crappy ending, but lil Sammy got into a scrap and tied it up before Irbe-bulin decided to shit the bed playing the puck.
Habs fan at heart, but I still have 2 Gagner jerseys. >.> <.<
Good hockey weekend. Nice to see the Pens come from behind and take out the Isles. I was impressed with Tavares. I don't know if he's going to be able to become a reliable contributor this season, but he didn't look lost out there like so many 18-19 year olds.
Luongo, you're killin' me man. Get it together, haven't had a decent game yet.
Ok well it's the annual West canada trip for the habs and each year it'Ls shit lol so here's my lolprediction
Today Vs flames : loose (no def and flames playing OK)
Tomorrow vs Canucks : Overtime win or loose (canaucks are starting bad like the habs, just that the habs has more luck)
Saturday vs Oilers :win (come on the oilers?)
Hehe, ended up getting NHL center ice for free from DirecTV cuz I called to complain about Versus being gone and they comped me the package.
Bluejackets are 2-0 for the first time in franchise history, lol. I know it's early, but we appear to be a better team than last year, we're getting scoring from lots of different people. Hope we can keep that up, that's what has killed us in past seasons.
First real test for the Pens comes Thursday. You hear the Philly fans talk they think that Pronger is going to elbow Crosby into the fourth row. Let's see if Pronger can catch him. I'm very interested to see how Emery performs. Because let's face it, if he's on he's on. If he's off, he's a fucking trainwreck lol.
Jesus I don't check BG for a while and the hockey thread is already 15 pages long. I fail at life. Flyers v Caps tonight, this time it's personal. Varlamov in goal (let's ignore giving up 3 goals in the 3rd to the loLeafs Saturday night pl0x).
Fun fact: The Redskins and Caps have both won two games this season. Redskins combined margin of victory = 5 points. Caps combined margin of victory = 5 goals. Not awesome.
Wohoohoohooo!
I was kind of wondering where you were at Virtue. I think you were the last regular who hadn't checked in yet lol. Now that we're all here we can begin the real trash talking!
Lions have more wins than the Wings at the momentI hate slow regular seasons starts...
Yeah that's the one down side to the start of the season. Not enough games!
Yeah I've been dealing with all the paperwork from these goddamn restraining orders Semin has taken out on me. I mean seriously, where does he get off calling my undying love "stalking"?
I'm trying to catch up through the thread (on page 8 or so), and I'm not even to the start of the regular season games yet.
Have to admit I was surprised at how solid Theodore looked on opening night. Varlamov essentially had a night off against Toronto, especially because we were up so big so early. Going to be very interesting to see how he does tonight against the Flyers.
I really just want to see Ovie's line run all over Pronger. I'm just tired of hearing how Pronger is going to stop all the high scoring eastern conference forwards. Fuck those idiots(Abraxas is excluded because he's one of our idiots and we love him.) Pronger isn't a cure for the Flyers. He's not even a temporary fix. The cure was keeping young guys like Luca Sbisa. I mean come on, you're trading a proven scoring winger and a bonafide 19 year old sizable defenseman for a 34 year old diminishing powerhouse defenseman? Enjoy those 12 goals a year and those 150+ penalty minutes he's going to get for hooking, interference, and holding calls he's going to get as players like Ovie and Malkin go screaming past him.
I find it amusing that right now St Louis is leading the central division and the Avalanche are tied with Calgary for the Northwest. Sure its only two games into the season but this has definitely not been the start many people were predicting for a lot of teams.
