Personally -- I'm most looking forward to cheering Miller for what he did in the Olympics.

I was watching the Hawks/Wings game earlier, and what's bugging me the most about the Rangers isn't that they're mediocre or bad, it's that they're boring. They have almost zero game-breaking ability, or anything to genuinely get excited about.

I'm about ready to put this season to bed. I got my playoff tix invoice (not that I think we'll get in) but I can't fathom shelling out money for those tix. I pay $56 a ticket for the regular season...FIRST ROUND is $85 a ticket...fucking disgusting!

Matt Cooke, I suspect, is about to be suspended for a very long time, at least 5-10 games, for crushing Marc Savard. It was a "clean" hit by the rules, he hit him as Savard finished letting go of a shot, Savards head was down a little low due to him shooting, it was very close to the Richards hit, only Cooke won't get favoritism in Colin Campbell's reaction I'm sure.

....and there's the Booth/Richards hit comparison. Savard just raised his hand a little to acknowledge the crowd, so it hopefully isn't a neck injury. Probably a severe concussion.

Just saw Cooke's hit, seemed dirty to me. It looks like he was going for a body check and only uses his shoulder, by gets Savard squarely in the head. It also looks like he could have possibly altered his angle a little bit to get him in his body instead, which is why I say it was dirty.

I didn't think Cooke even skated that hard into the hit, but he definitely did change his angle to have the hit happen how it did. Can't say I'm surprised, Cooke is definitely a dirty player, but I don't think the severity of his hit has anything on the Richards hit. Richards skated into that hit on Booth like his life depended on it, Cooke sort of just drifted into it.

Savard has a concussion of yet to be determined degree and he lost conciousness as a result of the hit according to TSN.ca/NHL.com.
