Only like 3 people actively managed their teams every week, me, SmelltheGlove, and whoever is in 3rd (they have like 56 moves on the season). My team is average at best, with only 1 legitimate goalie, I woulda made the playoffs regardless, but to finish 2nd with Iginla being my #1 pick (and horribly underperforming) and only 1 real goalie, not realistic.

I have 56 moves this season cuz i had nfc what i was doing the start (never done a fantasy before) and had a homer lineup. Had to do lots of adding and dropping to get a decent balanced group.

You all also suck for not trading. Don't think we had one the entire season.

I saw that... But that really makes no sense to me. He's their best penalty killer... And if there's one facet of the Rangers you can't rag on (at least as much as other partts of their game) it's their penalty kill... And there's plenty players on the Rangers who are more useless/less valuable than Ryan Callahan... Lisin, Redden, Voros, Brashear, all come to mind. The kid is 4 points off matching last season's total... With this offensively inept team he'll probably miss it... But still!

I would say that's not far off, but there is at least 1 defenseman who has been worse this season on the Wings alone (Jonathan Ericsson). Doesn't help that the best defensive player in the world plays on the first line to compare him to.

Jesus, just saw the hit on Seabrook, Wizniewski could have gotten elbowing, charging, roughing, etc on that hit (and next season a hit to the head). Absolute terrible play.

Edit: Seabrook's hit on Perry wasn't the classiest thing in the world, but it just seemed like he caught Perry off balance and didn't really do anything illegal or malicious. Wisniewski should get at least 5 games for this bullshit.

I stopped watching after the "Is he selling this?" comment.
Yeah.. totally faking, you can tell by the way his eyes are shut and he's as limp as a fucking noodle. Dumbest commentary since anything that ever came out of Derek Sanderson's mouth.

And the headshots are still rampant in the CHL as well. There was another kid suspended the other day for one. I dunno if they're happening more, or just being reported on more. Probably a bit of both, but it's still freaky.

I'd like to know what is up with the Hawks recently. They need to fix things fast or they're not getting out of the first round, maybe second depending who we get. Wisniewski better get suspended, I mean he only charged in from his spot on the blue line to level Seabs. After the Hawks fix their problems and get back on track here, next step is getting rid of Colin Campbell and Gary Bettman, and get some people who know how to run a league. The inconsistancy in all these suspensions and fines is just mind boggling.

The Ducks have some of the worst announcers in the game. The think EVERYONE is out to get them. Any time a call is made against the Ducks, they act like either A) The player is faking it/taking a dive or B) The refs are out to get them. Howard is one of the biggest tools in the NHL.

Guess it even goes down to their players:

I do like how the Ducks announcers think Seabook knocked out Perry when Perry did not like dazed at all.

Also, the Paralympics are happening in Vancouver right now. Japan just upset Canada in the semis so the best Canada can get is Bronze. The japanese up here are going nuts. Watched a game live the other day it's pretty crazy, lots of good hits but not really too many good scoring chances.

No official word yet on how long Seabrook is out for, but I suspect the rest of the road trip we have (two games.) I know for sure he's out tonight and we moved Byfuglien back to defense.
