that's pretty incredible...even if they don't take the #1 seed, the nice side-plot is they're leading their division...and San Jose is falling apart...As per usual...Not even waiting for the playoffs this time. Wonder what would happen if they collapse in the first round yet again.

You'd be surprised how good a coach Dave Tippet is. The Coyotes always had a good crew, they were just in need of structure and organization. LolGretzky.

They've also won like 5 of their 9 games in shootouts. They're really money in that department, and it makes them look better than they are. As Razor said in today's game "A decade ago that would have been called 4 wins and 4 ties!"

Honestly Flyers have a good team, they just didn't had a real #1 goalie since Hextall

The last "#1" they had was Roman Checkmanek (sp) he was good during season but shitty during playoffs

The beginning of the Rangers - Bruins game was pretty entertaining on NBC yesterday. Prospal nails Sturm into the endboards and then gets raped by 3 Bruins players while Chris Drury tries to stop them, that was pretty good. Then Sturm getting up and facewashing Gaborik was even better lol.

It appears that Phoenix has been building a very solid team while no one was looking. Their deadline acquisitions were great and they have some good young talent on that team to be sure.

Also, Rick Nash made Sportscenter's Top 10 (no. 8 ) for his breakaway goal on Friday night.

Selanne got #600 last night - and Neidermeyer couldn't have given it to him in a more classy way. Colorado goalie was down and out, and Scott had an open net for an easy goal, but passed it to Selanne standing 2 feet from him and let him throw it in.

It came down to goalie stats... skater stats were close, like 3-3 (G, PIM, Shots for me - A, +/-, PPP for you), and we both had a terrible goalie week - Thomas got yanked on Monday and Luongo got yanked on Tuesday for me, ultimately Theodore proved to be my saving grace.

Kinda fitting though - Philly losing cause they don't have reliable goaltending.
