Well in the Flyer's defense of Pronger....it's not just the team making him act like a thug. He's always been a nasty fucker to play against lol.

its called crashing the net. the area in front of the crease was Leino's ice as much as it was Fleury, if not more. The pens do it - its ok. the flyers do it - its running the goalie.

Are any other canuck fans onboard with the fact that Luongo doesn't NEED to be in net the rest of the regular season? We have a solid 8-4-1 backup in Raycroft who can play .500 down this stretch which would force Colorado to go 6-1 or something ridiculous to pull ahead of us for the division lead. It'll keep the media and the fans blaming him on these games down the stretch and get them prepared for blaming him on the games that matter in the playoffs.

I have faith that Luongo will be good enough in the playoffs and I don't want to get on him there are much more important things I'd like to be paying attention to like Hank the Tank (fuck u crosby where u at??!?), like Burrows quest for 40, like following Wellwood continue to turn things around. But we lose to the islanders, we lose to deadmonton. Why is this happening?
