"Look, if there's no injury on the play, we probably, we don't do anything, but that's part of the supplemental discipline process. If you cause a player to be injured, then you have to be responsible for the play that you're involved in, if there's any carelessness or recklessness in it.

Of those remaining games, 4 of them are against teams that should not be in the playoffs, and one is against a team whos only goaltender choices are still taking college courses (and will be missing Carcillo). There is no reason to take atleast 8/12 pts.

Im glad you feel Lemieux was the best NHLer of all-time. Im a little biased, but I'm in the same camp. Given Lemieux's injuries, production in the 1980's despite the lack of a supporting cast compared to Gretzky's Oilers, and intangibles (overcoming cancer mid-season, the Canada Cup, his comeback, and while not neccesarily a PLAYER issue, his skills as a owner) make him overall the best individual to have played the game of hockey. There's no doubt if he was as healthy as Gretzky and played about 5 years earlier (Gretzky only played his final few years during the goal scoring downturn of the mid to late 90s, Lemieux played almost half his career from the 95 Devils cup win onwards) he could've competed for his scoring records.

Anyways, on Letang, I would like to see a lower cap number, like 3, but given that there were rumors of 4-4.5 I guess I can live with 3.5. Hes still got a lot of developing to do, but his physical game is improving. He still hasn't proven himself as a PP Quarterback, but the Pens could at least manage with the Goligoski/Letang combo if/when we lose Gonchar after this year/a couple years from now. I'm not the biggest Letang fan cause hes a Frenchie and hes the king of missing the net, but lately hes been a lil more accurate (I heard he's been working on it / been bitched at about it from the coaches) and Bylsma is warming up to him too (Bylsma used to hate him in the AHL/early last year after getting the NHL job).

Just listened to the National Anthem on the radio as I wasn't home yet for the Hawks vs Blues games, and my God was the singer terrible. He started the song with a "everybody sing along" and was singing it in a country accent lol. Hawks better win tonight and snap this skid we're on or there's gonna be hell to pay.
