Haven't seen a meltdown this bad since the Sharks ever year, and the Cubs in 08.....fuck.

This is definitely bad, I'm not worried just yet since these games don't mean a lot at this point, but they really did look like shit. They're not getting in front of the net, they're making shitty passes, Versteeg all of a sudden thinks he's Havlat and tries to dance through 4 guys every time he touches the puck and gives it away, and they just look slow in general.

Hossa did have a pretty badass move at one point, but Mason stoned him so big whoop.

It means everything right now though because Nashville is only 5 (or 3 at the time of typing this based on if they beat LA tonight) points behind us for the division. We can't just coast into the playoffs because if we do you know we're gonna end up with Detroit in round one with the way they're playing.

The Hawks meltdown is getting to pretty rediculous levels, its true. If they keep it up, LA/Colorado/Detroit will have a nice upset in the first round vs them. They look like they just don't want it.

Fuck ya Stars losing last night, putting them at 13th in the WCF. I want to see that draft pick go up! What's sad is they're STILL behind Atlanta who's firmly in the ECF playoff race. How horrible is that, a team has a chance of getting in the playoffs while still retaining a higher draft pick. The ECF is laughable this season.

I need a non homer opinion on this hit so I'm turning to you guys. Kesler delivers a hit at the beginning of the video (better view at 1:00 minutes into the video). Is the hit bad enough to get Kesler ejected from the game? If this is what the new rule is going to bring to the games the playoffs this year is going to be very interesting.

Anyway, chillin' in Vegas, good shit. Couple things.

1) Good to see Letang get an extension, gonna suck in a few years when all the big contracts begin expiring, but whatever. Next few years are gonna be crazy.

2) Sepukku, I noticed you mention Goligoski in the same sentence as Letang. Goligoski sucks bro, get over it. He's a flop, I don't care how much you love him because he's the same heritage as you or as big as you or whatever, dude sucks. I hope for the Penguins' sake he gets better, but he just seems lost on the ice 100% of the time. I dunno if he's just a good playoff guy like Fleury, Fedotenko, etc., because I'm not going to deny he wasn't good last year in the playoffs.

3) Kesler hit was clean, and he's a badass for taking on three guys at once. Fuck yeah Kesler.
