Ooooh, that's a good idea for rat hockey. Wonder why no one has organized one before lol, but yeah, gonna check that out in the future use.
I'd be down for a pool. I know next season I'm not missing the opportunity of the fantasy league though.
Also, since I love you all so much even if you are a Flyers fan, I present to you the joke of the official Penguin's message board:

The guy is hilariously terrible, stupid, and creepy. Capitals fan. Last year during the playoffs this guy should have had ten heartattacks based on his videos.
I normally only play fantasy football but maybe next year I'll join the BG hockey one.
Not sure where you're driving from, but I do Hoffman Estates 2-3 times a week at the moment til I find a job, Tuesdays/Thursdays have full games, Wednesdays there aren't a lot of guys there but it's good for practice, last week I went and the first 30 minutes was nothing but me and a goalie, so I got to work on my shot a bit(I seriously can't fucking shoot, it's embarrassing lol).
Otherwise I know there's an unofficial one that got added early as hell @ Addison, Thursday mornings from like 7-10am for like 12 bucks. I think if they get good attendance for a while they'll add it to schedule and lower price.
I'd be coming from Woodridge. We play some of our games up in Addison (actually have one tonight) and I despise that rink with a passion. The ice sucks, the locker rooms seriously only fit 7 guys without crowding, the locker rooms are a sauna, but the ice itself is like the arctic, even with pads on and moving around sweating, you freeze. The only good rat hockey I used to go to was at the rink in Carol Stream but that was like $17 from 10:30 to midnight on Fridays.
Don't really do rat hockey much, just play our league games. We're short tonight a few guys, if you want some ice time I can ask our captain, he'd probably ask for like $10-15 to play...but we're playing the last place team so it should be ok with us even down people. I dunno who he's contacted though to fill the missing roster spots for tonight. I do know we were looking for some guys still for a summer league so if you might be interested send me a pm and we can talk.
Get the fuck out. I spell it the correct way, not your bastardized American bullshit.

Confirmation that the British are doing it wrong. Everyone knows that for proper grammar you drop the e in place of ing. Lol @ spelling aging, as ageing.

I am ready for some playoffs.
Man that Detroit vs Vancouver series in the first round is going to be disgusting...
Here's hoping they start Osgood a few times or Kesler decides to hulk up and pull his Michigan superman routine in Detroit again. Dude loves playing in his home state. He's our best chance at winning a game in Detroit.
I'm hoping the Wings end in 5th, although I'm not terribly bothered by any team. It's going to be fucking weird having the playoffs start somewhere other than Detroit though...
Vancouver vs. Detroit would be a sick series, I've seen several people picking one of those two to come out of the West.
ESPN.com's hockey coverage is honestly not bad, it'd be nice if they got back to devoting some airtime to it next year on the actual channel though. Or at least on The Ocho.
In other news bragging about the Wings, this will be the first year Detroit starts as a non-top-4 team since before the Conferences were changed to East/West.
Man it's been freaking a long ass time since they were Campbell/Wales lol. Going along with the way back when of current topic, the last time the Hawks won the central division it was called the Norris.![]()
I was curious myself when the last time was that the Hawks didn't win the division, but did finish above the Wings, lol.
