I just want to put it out there that I wrapped up a game of NHL10 online with someone who not one single time pressed the button to advance through the little cutscenes during the entire game. The game took about 52 minutes because he was a moron who froze the puck every time his goalie got it.

I'm honestly not sure if I've ever been this angry in my life, I don't think I can do either of playing videogames or watching the Hawks game tonight, as both videogames and hockey were simultaneously ruined for at least 24 hours by that fuckwit.

I do that to annoy people if they're pissing me off. 13 year old talking shit on the mic in a Minnie Mouse voice? Guess what, I'm putting my controller down and walking away! Obsessive player who has 1,000 games played and can do spin moves and jukes through my team like the Harlem Globetrotters (and Im not an idiot who goes to the puckhandler for a check, so its not ridiculously easy to juke around me like some of the noobs who just try to play the body and never stick lift / poke check)? Guess what! You're gonna watch my dirty goal in the paint 20 times before we go to the face off!

The kicker is he floated the softest wrister ever, dead-straight on in front of the goalie from behind the blue line that coasted about a half mile an hour and floated right under Mason's legs for the winning goal. Catching up:

1) OV was awesome last night, and I love how they closed out the game trying to set up Semin to get his 40th. Bregor I'm sure you watched- how about that shift that ended with the Chimera goal? Jesus. And the Caps now have the top 5 guys in +/-.

2) Was flipping over to the Rangers/Flyers on Vs. It blows that the Caps are on Sunday on NBC instead of the those two.

3) Oh god those blue Caps' jerseys. Please make them die. Curse the day anyone thought teal should be a uniform color. And the Wizards still wear them! The red ones are much cleaner, and closer to the original ones from when I was a kid. Fucking love them. And agreed on the eagle. Considering getting a tattoo, because I've got space on my shoulder.

I actually had to walk out the door last night when Ovie scored to make it 3-2. Friend of a friend had a birthday thing at some bar. Watched the highlights, Chimera's goal was nice but would have liked to see Flash bury that shot that hit the post earlier in the shift. Green rang one too, the score could have gotten out of hand easily, especially considering BMo kicked in an own goal. And 11 shots for Sasha, you know he wants 40, lol.

Outside of the perfect wrister on the shortie, Theodore was absolutely perfect. The story was Ovie to 50 and Backstrom to 100, but Theo to 30 wins and and playing stellar hockey since the break it was has me feeling pretty good heading into the playoffs.

The Boston/Carolina game is awesome lol. Boston scored 3 shorthanded goals in 64 seconds for their only 3 goals so far, and now almost scored on themselves after a delayed penalty call. The puck was about an inch from going over the goal line.

I also found today a random game on that I'm not sure why it was coming in, was Edmonton vs LA, up on one of the channels past what they use for Center Ice...was like 468 or something.

NHLN is standard programming for Comcast now I think, I've had it all season and I don't have any special packages beyond basic HD stuff. Right now all of center ice is unlocked because of the MLB trial for the start of the season.

Hoping for Crosby to be held goal-less today, though I doubt that will happen. I'd like to see Stamkos win the Rocket.

Holy shit just saw a replay of the Cooke/Kane fight, that was amazing. Glad that Cooke got knocked out but doesn't seem injured. Kane is one of my new favorite non-Wings.
