Doubt he's getting a legitimate shot...Unless Torts has been THAT displeased with Brashear or Voros. Those two being the most obvious players for him to replace. But for all the work he's put in over the years, the Rangers need to throw him a bone.

Though I'd have no love loss with Voros being out if PAP plays that well.

I dont think Tortorella wants him any lower than the 2nd line. He could bench Voros and put Higgins on his line. And keep PAP on the 2nd line if he plays well.

Kinda sucks when there's this much of a scare about it around, yet as an athlete you try to play through it or keep practicing at least to sweat it out when you're feeling sick. Though from the start of the season, every Oiler has their own water bottle etc, but it's still making the rounds. Mike Comrie-Duff has been sick for a week or so too.

I'll be alright. I survived with him last year in both my leagues. He is by far the best goalie [Luongo] and is worth 2-3 weeks of mediocre goalie stats. I am pretty good at selecting when to start and sit my goalies, so I'll just be extra shrewd with Huet knowing I won't have Luongo to balance out any hiccups.

I'm more upset that Gagne got hurt right after I traded for him...
